Lee Chung Ah is reportedly replacing Kwak Sun Young in the upcoming K-drama Honour.
On July 16, media outlet OSEN reported that Lee Chung Ah received the offer to join the Korean version of the Swedish series Honour. According to reports, Lee Chung Ah is stepping in to replace Kwak Sun Young in an upcoming K-drama after Kwak Sun Young's casting fell through.
Reports stated that Lee Chung Ah is positively reviewing the offer.
If Lee Chung Ah decides to join the new K-drama, this will be her grand comeback to the small screen. Her last project was the series Hide with Lee Bo Young, Lee Moo Saeng, Lee Min Jae, Kim Gook Hee, and Hong Seo Joon.
Lee Chung Ah is known for starring in the K-dramas Celebrity, Awaken, V.I.P, Because This Is My First Life, Wonderful Mama, Flower Boy Ramen Shop, and more.

Honour will depict the story from the 2019 Swedish series of the same name. It will reveal the journey of three lawyers who confront a big scandal from their past head-on.
Aside from Lee Chung Ah, Lee Na Young and Jung Eun Chae will reportedly lead the upcoming K-drama.
Lee Na Young was offered the role of Yoon Ra Young, a lawyer at L&J Law Firm. Her striking appearance and exceptional eloquence captivate the public. However, she carries memories of an incident from twenty years ago.
Jung Eun Chae received the role of Kang Shin Jae, the head of L&J Law Firm. She leads the three lawyers with her tough charisma and authority. Driven to achieve her goals, she will stop at nothing, even resorting to any means necessary.
Meanwhile, Lee Chung Ah received an offer to portray Hwang Hyun Jin in the series. She also works at L&J Law Firm, where she is the activist among the three lawyers.
The upcoming K-drama will be the next work of director Park Geon Ho, who is known for creating the series Dong Jae, the Good or the Bastard.
According to reports, Honor will begin filming in August. The broadcast channel and release date of Honor are still under discussion.
