
Netflix has confirmed the production of the upcoming original series Honey Jar Project.
On April 29, Netflix confirmed the production of Honey Jar Project. They also revealed that Lee Jae Wook, Go Min Si, Kim Min Ha, and Lee Hee Joon will be the main leads of the upcoming series.
Honey Jar Project is a mystery horror K-drama that tells the story of the main lead, Byeon Hyeok Jun. In his 30s, Byeon Hyeok Jun takes on a high-value part-time job that leads him to encounter unexpected events.
Directors Han Jun Hee (D.P., Coin Locker Girl, and Hit-and-Run Squad) and Kim Da Min (A Killer Paradox) will work together to create the series.
Honey Jar Project will exclusively premiere on Netflix. It will have a total of 8 episodes.
Lee Jae Wook will play the role of Byeon Hyeok Jun, a character who takes on a part-time job paying 50 times the normal hourly wage to clear his debt. He secures this part-time job through a mysterious advertisement known as Spider Manpower.
Go Min Si will give life to the role of Yeon Ju. She works as an accident investigator for the Labor Disaster Protection Agency. She will do everything to expose the mysterious incidents happening at the Spider Manpower.
In the series, Kim Min Ha plays Byeon Ji Yun, the younger sister of Lee Jae Wook's character, Byeon Hyeok Jun. While she often bickers with her brother, she grows worried after noticing his strange behavior following his new part-time job.
Lastly, Lee Hee Joon will be Mr. S in the series. He is the CEO of Spider Manpower, who will guide Byeon Hyeok Jun into the world of high-value part-time jobs.
