Lee Shin Young takes on a new character transformation in Moon River.

Moon River tells the story of a crown prince who has lost his smile and a merchant who has lost part of her memories, as their souls get swapped, unleashing chaos.

In the K-drama, Lee Shin Young plays Yi Woon, the cousin of Crown Prince Yi Kang (Kang Tae Oh). Yi Woon was once the crown prince himself, but was dethroned due to a certain incident. Without any desire to reclaim power, he accepts reality and lives a carefree life.

However, because he was once the king's legitimate heir, he is often regarded with suspicion. As a result, he carries a deep loneliness in his heart. Having long swallowed his solitude with no one to rely on, curiosity builds over what new turns of fate await him.

In the stills, Yi Woon is seen relishing a freedom unlike that of a typical prince — leisurely reading a book while sitting under a tree or surrounded by people in the bustling marketplace.

However, there is a trace of loneliness on Yi Woon's face. His wistful eyes and expression devoid of a smile stir curiosity and a sense of poignancy.

Moon River premieres on October 31. News about the K-drama's global OTT is yet to come. Stay tuned!
