Actress Lee Young Ae and Yoo Ji Tae reunite for a new K-drama.
On March 23, I Will Media stated, "Lee Young Ae and Yoo Ji Ttae have been cast as the leads in the new drama 'Jae Yi's Young In', which is scheduled to begin production in 2026."
Jae Yi's Young In tells the story of a man and a woman who share similar pain and learn how to live again. As the two, left alone in the world, get close, their hidden secrets come to light.
Above all, the project is drawing intense anticipation for the reunion of Lee Young Ae and Yoo Ji Tae, more than 25 years after One Fine Spring Day.
In the drama, Lee Young Ae plays Joo Young In, an art teacher and painter burdened by the grief of losing her son. She is a woman who endures life by painting murals during sleepless nights.
Yoo Ji Tae plays Shin Jae Yi, the head of an architecture firm who possesses a pure, boyish charm and a free-spirited nature. Despite his bright personality, he lives with a void caused by dissociative amnesia, and as the truth gradually comes to light, he is thrown into confusion and turmoil.
The production team stated, "With intricate emotional storytelling and an unpredictable plot, we will present a distinctive and sophisticated mystery melodrama."
