Highly anticipated Chinese drama When I Meet the Moon has confirmed its premiere date for November 5.
Set in the same universe as Hidden Love and The First Frost, the drama follows socially anxious Yun Li (Lu Yu Xiao) as she enrolls in a postgraduate program in Nanwu, hoping to show her father that she can stand on her own. Just before the new semester begins, she is invited to a local virtual reality (VR) center as a video creator, where she unexpectedly crosses paths with Fu Shize (Lin Yi), a brilliant former classmate and her high school crush. Yun Li wins him over with her warmth and vibrant personality.
Although their time together is filled with sweet moments, differences in how they handle problems and perceive things gradually emerge. Eventually, a series of misunderstandings leads to their breakup. Yun Li goes abroad, while Fu Shize's deeply buried painful past is also brought to light.
Determined to win Yun Li back, Fu Shize pulls himself together and leads his team in reaching new heights in scientific research. After Yun Li returns to China, he goes all out to pursue her.
When I Meet the Moon will premiere on November 5 and stream on iQIYI.
