The Husband has unveiled a new teaser.

The Husband tells the story of Kang Tae Joo (Namkoong Min), who becomes locked in a life-or-death struggle against a criminal in order to save his wife, who is kidnapped just before their divorce.

The teaser opens with Kang Tae Joo (Namkoong Min) in an extreme state of desperation, firing his gun into the air and roaring, "Don't come any closer!".

It then shows Kang Tae Joo speeding off toward an unknown destination as multiple police cars pursue his vehicle with their sirens blaring. Over these scenes, a news report is heard saying, "Kang Tae Joo, a wanted fugitive who fled while under police investigation on charges of kidnapping his wife and alleged involvement in a murder case…"

Noh Man Hee (Kim Dae Myung), who had been wearing a gentle smile, exudes a dark aura when he reveals a startlingly sinister side, saying in an eerie voice, "People have their limits to how much they can endure. I've reached mine."

The unexpected shift explodes the mystery surrounding his character.

At the same time, Kang Tae Joo is seen hastily sweeping mysterious pill bottles into a bag. After attacking someone and knocking them unconscious, he jumps from a high place.

Later, Kang Tae Joo's car crashes into a police vehicle with a thunderous impact. Despite officers' orders, he continues to run.

Meanwhile, Go Se Yoon (Lee Seol), visibly terrified, flees frantically as someone pursues her from behind. The teaser then shows Kang Tae Joo speaking with unwavering resolve, "I'll bring Se Yoon back no matter what."

He proceeds to walk across the rooftop of a building before sweeping the beam of a flashlight through a pitch-black space, desperately searching for something hidden in the darkness.

In particular, accompanied by the ominous voice asking, "How far can Kang Tae Joo go for the sake of his wife?"

The teaser rapidly unfolds cuts that deepen curiosity about its whirlwind narrative. Go Se Yoon, consumed by fear, appears, followed by Kim Kyung Ae (Lee Sang Hee) wearing a bright smile. Next, Noh Man Hee bursts into maniacal laughter, while Kang Tae Joo wears a grim, resolute expression as he fires a gun at someone. All of that leads to the question of how the story will unfold.

The Husband is coming July 4. The K-drama will be streaming on Disney+ (select regions). Watch the teaser here
