Disney+ K-drama 'Made in Korea Season 2' announces premiere
The Netflix K-drama When Life Gives You Tangerines has won another award.

When Life Gives You Tangerines won the Grand Prize (Mid-to-Long Form category) at the 2025 New Media Content Awards ceremony, held on September 17 in Seoul.
The judge's panel of the 2025 New Media Content Awards praised the K-drama for "expanding regional particularities into universal sentiments, thereby showcasing the cultural diversity and expandability of K-content."
Pan Entertainment CEO Park Sang Hyun expressed his gratitude, saying, "Thanks to the global viewers who loved When Life Gives You Tangerines, we were able to stand on this reputable stage. I'd like to thank our staff, as well as the writer, director, and actors."
CEO Park further stated, "Above all, I sincerely thank viewers around the world who loved our work," and added, "We will do our very best so that we can bring you even better projects in the future, so please watch over us with warmth."
When Life Gives You Tangerines unfolds the story of the rebellious yet endearing Ae Soon and the diligent Gwan Sik as they navigate the seasons of life, facing challenges and trials along the way. IU and Park Bo Gum play the young versions of Ae Soon and Gwan Sik, whereas Moon So Ri and Park Hae Joon portray the characters' middle-aged versions.
