Lee Jun Young in talks to be Cha Joo Young's male lead in a new rom-com K-drama!
Actor Kang Tae Joo, who became more known after starring in Pachinko Season 2, is joining the upcoming K-drama Nyuneo.
On June 2, it was revealed that Kang Tae Joo is joining the cast of the upcoming TVING K-drama Nyuneo. He will be starring alongside Nam Ji Hyun and Kim Jae Young.
This will be Kang Tae Joo's follow-up work after making a special cameo appearance in the hit K-drama The Judge from Hell, led by Park Shin Hye, Kim Jae Young, Kim In Kwon, Kim Ah Young, Lee Joong Ok, and Ha Kyung Min. This will also be his reunion with actor Kim Jae Young.
Kang Tae Joo started his acting career in 2020 through the series Missing: The Other Side. He became more known after starring in a supporting role in Pachinko Season 2 as Baek Noa.
The actor has starred in the works Nara's Marvelous Days, Hello, Me!, Begins Youth, The Childe, and more.
Nyuneo will be Kang Tae Joo's first project for 2026.
Nyuneo will reveal the romance story of a woman raised in a conservative household and a man who sells sex toys for a living. Their connection leads them to question their own beliefs and grow in unexpected ways.
Nam Ji Hyun will give life to the role of Yeon Seo, the woman who was raised in a conservative household. Kim Jae Young, on the other hand, will be the male lead who sells sex toys for a living.
Kang Tae Joo will portray the role of the vice president of the company who sells adult products and is the colleague of Kim Jae Young's character.
Director Kim Ye Ji (Drama Festa: Schadenfreude) and writer Ahn Sae Bom (Soundtrack #1) will work together to create the upcoming K-drama.
According to reports, the upcoming K-drama will have a total of 12 episodes, and it will premiere in 2026.
Nyuneo will exclusively premiere on TVING.
