'Perfect Crown' wraps up at personal best, 'My Royal Nemesis' hits new high
Park Shin Hye is returning with a new character transformation in the new tvN drama Undercover Miss Hong.
Undercover Miss Hong follows Hong Geum Bo (Park Shin Hye), an elite supervisor for the Financial Supervisory Service, who goes undercover as a 20-year-old entry-level employee at a securities firm after detecting suspicious fund flows.
The production team released a teaser, giving a glimpse of Park Shin Hye in her new character.
The teaser opens with the narration, "In '97, at the end of the century, women in the office were lumped together as 'Miss' rather than called by their names." It then quickly cuts to Hong Geum Bo (Park Shin Hye) with her bob haircut, neat uniform, and slightly flushed face as she rushes around doing small errands.

However, Miss Hong, who seems naïve, turns out to be the elite supervisor Hong Geum Bo, hinting at an undercover operation about to unfold. The narration at the end of the clip — "Miss Hong: that ordinary title was the most perfect disguise made by the era" — piques intrigue. Curiosity heightens about the story of Hong Geum Bo, who hides her identity and lives a completely different life behind the mask of "Miss".
Park Shin Hye (The Judge from Hell, Doctor Slump, Doctors, Pinocchio, The Heirs) brings Hong Geum Bo to life with her signature charisma and charm. She seamlessly switches between the façade of innocent Miss Hong and elite securities supervisor, giving the character depth, wit, and authenticity.
Undercover Miss Hong also stars Go Kyung Pyo, Ha Yoon Kyung, Cho Han Gyeol, Kim Hyung Mook, Kang Chae Young, Choi Ji Su, Lee Deok Hwa, and Kim Do Hyun, among others.
The K-drama is directed by Park Seon Ho (Suspicious Partner, Business Proposal), with the script penned by Moon Hyun Kyung.
Undercover Miss Hong premieres on January 17. Check out the teaser here.
