Upcoming fantasy K-movie The Mysterious Candy Store Jun Chun Dang has released a teaser and poster.

Based on the Japanese bestseller of the same name, The Mysterious Candy Store Jun Chun Dang is a fantasy that unfolds as customers who carry special coins visit a mysterious wish-granting snack shop. The live-action film is to hit theaters this May, followed by a 12-episode series scheduled for release in the second half of 2026.

The poster features the mystical snack shop set against a dreamy background, alongside two characters with contrasting charms.

Ra Mi Ran, who plays Hong Ja, the owner of the shop, is seen dressed in hanbok, wearing a warm smile and a mysterious aura. Lee Re, who plays Yo Mi, the owner of the rival shop, draws attention with her all-black styling and cold gaze.

The teaser gives a glimpse of the tense confrontation between the two characters and the film's fantastical visuals.

The scenes show customers of all kinds visiting Hong Ja's shop as she asks, "Please tell me if there is anything you want," and the special customers are seen making wishes like wanting to become strong. However, Hong Ja warns, "Good fortune can easily turn into misfortune."

The tease then shows Yo Mi being confronted by Hong Ja, heightening the tension. Hong Ja saying, "Did you really think you could just leave?" hints at an intense showdown between the two characters.

The Mysterious Candy Store Jun Chun Dang will be released in theaters on May 29. Watch the teaser here.
