Seo In Guk shares insights into his character in See You at Work Tomorrow!.

See You at Work Tomorrow! follows Cha Ji Yoon (Park Ji Hyun) — a Korean office worker who has been in the workforce for seven years and fallen into a rut — as she becomes involved with her boss, Kang Si Woo (Seo In Guk), and begins to rediscover excitement in both work and life.

Seo In Guk plays Kang Si Woo, the head of the DA Business Division, who places great importance on principles. Although he possesses exceptional professional skills and maintains strict self-discipline, his cold demeanor makes him a difficult person to approach.

Explaining why he chose to star in the drama, Seo In Guk said, "I was particularly drawn to the story of a so-called '3NO Man' — someone who lives by principles, never smiles (No Smile), keeps people at a distance (No People), and rarely apologizes (No Sorry) — who falls in love and protects his work."

Speaking about his character, he said, "At first glance, he may seem like a cold person with no blood or tears, but when you get to know him up close, he's actually someone very warm and someone with a deep consideration for others."

He continued, "It's difficult to compare him with the characters I've played before, but Kang Si-woo is also different in tone from my previous roles. While he often comes across as cold and detached at work, which often leads him to be misunderstood, he is a strong person who is not easily swayed by other people's opinions or emotions."

"On the other hand, when it comes to the people he cares about, he's someone with a strong capacity for empathy. I hope viewers will discover Kang Si Woo's unexpected charm as they watch the drama."

Talking about portraying the cold and principled Kang Si Woo, Seo In Guk explained, "I tried to express his character through a blunt, rigid way of speaking, cold facial expressions, and a stiff way of walking. I also made an effort to create a clear contrast between how he behaves at work and how he acts when he's with people he feels comfortable around."

Regarding his chemistry with Park Ji Hyun, Seo In Guk said, "There were a lot of fun moments on set. She's such a cheerful and witty actress that there was never a shortage of laughter during filming. We also share a love of music, so whenever we were shooting, we'd listen to and sing songs together, which made filming enjoyable. Thanks to that, we were able to maintain a pleasant synergy throughout filming."

He also shared a message for viewers, saying, "I hope you'll follow along and see how these characters grow and overcome challenges in their own ways amid the daily routine of going to and from work."

See You at Work Tomorrow! is coming June 22. It will be available to stream on Prime Video.
