Kim Sae Ron's posthumous film 'Everyday, We' confirmed to premiere in 2026
SEVENTEEN has officially confirmed the debut of its fourth sub-unit.
On August 11, media outlets reported that SEVENTEEN members S.Coups and Min Gyu will officially debut as a sub-unit next month. The duo has already completed filming the music video for their title track in Los Angeles, where they also attended a Dodgers game.
With this, SEVENTEEN's agency Pledis Entertainment confirmed the reports. According to them, "S.Coups and Min Gyu will release a unit album in September. We will give more details about the schedule through an official notice."
S.Coups and Min Gyu will be the fourth sub-unit from SEVENTEEN. They will follow the footsteps of BSS (BooSeokSoon) with members Boo Seung Kwan, DK, and Ho Shi, Yoon Jeong Han x Jeon Won Woo Re (JxW), and Hoshi x Woo Zi (HxW), who debuted early this year.
This sub-unit's debut marks SEVENTEEN's next release, following their 5th group album, HAPPY BURSTDAY, which was released last May.

SEVENTEEN is a thirteen-member K-pop group that debuted in 2015. This year, the group is celebrating its 10th anniversary, which they marked by releasing their 5th full-length album. The group includes members S.Coups and Min Gyu.
The new sub-unit consists of S.Coups, SEVENTEEN's leader and a rapper, and Min Gyu, a sub-vocalist and rapper. The two are no strangers to collaborating, as they are also members of the group's Hip-Hop Team.
In addition to their group activities with SEVENTEEN, S.Coups and Min Gyu are both pursuing solo endeavors. Among these projects, they have secured major brand ambassadorships. S.Coups was recently announced as the global ambassador for BOSS, while Min Gyu has been representing Dior since 2024.
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN will soon have four members temporarily absent due to military service. Jeonghan and Wonwoo are currently serving, and Hoshi and Woozi are set to begin their mandatory service next month.
