Shin Ha Kyun, Oh Jung Se, and Heo Sung Tae get back into action in 'Fifties Professionals'

Fifties Professionals has unveiled a teaser.

Fifties Professionals tells the story of three men who may seem ordinary but once wielded considerable influence and who are brought back into action by fate. 

The three men, who made a name for themselves in their respective fields, find themselves on the remote island of Yeongseondo following an incident. The series follows their journey as they search for the truth behind "that fateful day" from 10 years ago.

Shin Ha Kyun, Oh Jung Se, and Heo Sung Tae star as leads. 

The teaser captures Jung Ho Myeong (Shin Ha Kyun), Bong Je Sun (Oh Jung Se), and Kang Beom Ryong (Heo Sung Tae) — once known as the aces in their respective fields — starting to get back into action.

Jung Ho Myeong, a National Intelligence Service black agent who now works as a chef at a Chinese restaurant, confidently remarks, "Watch me, whether I can do it or not," only to contrast with his being unable even to collect tabs. Facing the nagging of his wife, Kwon Oh Ran (played by Shin Dong Mi), he struggles to live as an ordinary family man and is also experiencing symptoms of menopause.

Bong Je Sun, a North Korean special agent who lost his memories 10 years ago, now lives like a neighborhood pushover, taking on cleaning and car-washing jobs. His uncertain responses as he struggles to recall things pique curiosity about the past he has forgotten.

Kang Beom Ryong, who used to be second-in-command of the Hwasan Gang, appears as a convenience store owner who tells his subordinate Ma Gong Bok (Lee Hak Joo), saying, "Focus on increasing the store's sales." Although he tries to be a kind owner, when told to "hold out your hands," he instinctively extends them as if to put on handcuffs, thinking the cops want to arrest him.

As these men — who have each been living their own separate lives for the past ten years — begin to get back into action again, curiosity piques over the unusual events set to unfold on Yeongseon Island, what exactly "that incident" — the one that left the three men stuck on Yeongseon Island — could be, and the truth has remained buried for the past decade.
