Shin Seung Ho in talks to work with Kwak Dong Yeon in the film based on novel '6 Lying University St

Shin Seung Ho will reportedly work alongside Kwak Dong Yeon in the upcoming novel-based movie 6 Lying University Students.

On October 17, media outlets reported that Shin Seung Ho will be added to the main cast lineup of the upcoming Korean version of 6 Lying University Students. It was also recently reported that actor Kwak Dong Yeon will star in the upcoming film. 

6 Lying University Students will base its story on the novel of the same name by Asakura Akinari. According to reports, the film will add Korean sentiment to the original story. The film follows six job applicants at a global IT company as they participate in a team discussion to select a single successful candidate. The film is gaining high expectations for its powerful insights into human nature, trust, and the ethics of competition.

According to reports, 6 Lying University Students will be helmed by director Kim Jung Hoon. The film will be the next work of Production Coverant Pictures. It was also revealed that the Korean Film Council will provide 1 billion Korean won (Approximately $701,000) to support the production of the movie. 

Kwak Dong Yeon will reportedly portray Jeon Yo Han, an introverted genius who graduated from an Engineering college. He is characterized by making his critiques through logic, not emotion. Shin Seung Ho, on the other hand, received the offer to portray Baek Seung-bin, the humorous one who personally claims he is the mood maker. 

There is no official confirmation yet on the release date of the upcoming film, 6 Lying University Students.

If Shin Seung Ho confirms his casting, this will be his third upcoming film. 

Shin Seung Ho has had a very busy year with several projects. He has already starred in the films Only God Knows Everything and Omniscient Reader: The Prophecy, and before the year concludes, he is set to appear in Audition 109 and New Generation War: Reawakened Man. 

Aside from films, Shin Seung Ho is also expected to return to the K-drama scene with the upcoming series Insiders.
