Park Min Young adds another role to her 'Queen of Office Rom-Coms' repertoire with 'Nine to Six'
Gong Yoo and Song Hye Kyo's highly anticipated Netflix series Tantara has confirmed its release date for December 11.
Set in the 1960s through the 1980s, when barbarity and violence ran rampant, Tantara tells the story of people who, despite having nothing, risked everything in pursuit of dazzling success against the backdrop of the Korean entertainment industry.
Song Hye Kyo plays Min Ja, who enters the record industry after a childhood of poverty in which she had to do whatever it took to make money. Gong Yoo plays Dong Gu, her childhood friend who stays by her side and races alongside her in pursuit of her dreams. Kim Seol Hyun plays Min Hee, who pursues success in her own way while becoming entangled in a bittersweet relationship with Min Ja. Cha Seung Won plays Seok Gil Yeo, the era's leading composer, who can turn even a rookie singer into a top star.

The posters feature a panorama of the characters' lives on a turntable.
Having endured a difficult childhood together despite their poverty, Min Ja and Dong Gu are now adults, taking on various jobs, including working as waiters, before becoming novice managers. Their journey sparks curiosity about what they have been through and the challenges ahead.
Min Hee sings with sparkling eyes, and Seok Gil Yeo plays the saxophone. Adding to the anticipation are Yang Ja (Lee Ha Nee), singing passionately, and Mal Soon (Na Moon Hee), whose eyes reflect the joys and sorrows of her life over the years. Together, these characters heighten expectations for the diverse stories they will bring to life.
Tantara will premiere on December 11, only on Netflix.
