SBS has confirmed the premiere date of Taxi Driver Season 3

On October 13, SBS announced through its official social media platforms that Taxi Driver would return with its third season, premiering on November 21. They also released teaser posters for the upcoming K-drama.

Taxi Driver Season 3 will continue the goal of the mysterious taxi company Rainbow Taxi, which gets revenge on behalf of the victims. The story is adapted from the webtoon of the same name by Carlos and Keukeu Jae Jin.

Writer Oh Sang Ho will continue to write the script for the third season. Aside from being the mastermind of the whole Taxi Driver series, he is also known for creating the films  The Roundup: No Way Out and Fabricated City. Writer Oh Sang Ho will collaborate with director Kang Bo Seung, who also worked on the K-drama Dr. Romantic Season 3.

Actors Lee Je Hoon, Pyo Ye Jin, Kim Eui Sung, Jang Hyuk Jin, and Bae Yoo Ram will all return as members of the Rainbow Taxi team. Aside from the Rainbow team, Takenaka Naoto, Edan Lui, and Yoon Shi Yoon will also appear in the new season.

The newly released posters feature the Rainbow Taxi logo, a glimpse of Kim Do Gi's (main character played by Lee Je Hoon) newly upgraded taxi, and the tagline: "The third run begins."

This marks the return of the hit SBS series following its second season, which premiered in 2023. Given that Season 2 achieved a noteworthy 21% viewership rating, anticipation is high that Season 3 can surpass that record. Both Season 1 and Season 2 remain available for viewing on major streaming platforms, including Netflix, Prime Video, Viu, and more.

Taxi Driver Season 3 will have a total of 16 episodes. It will exclusively air on SBS.
