Netflix ropes in Lee Jae Wook, Go Min Si, Kim Min Ha, and Lee Hee Joon for a horror K-drama
When Life Gives You Tangerines actor Kang Yoo Seok comes as the idol of the obstetrics and gynecology department at Yulje Hospital in Resident Playbook.
Hospital Playlist spinoff, Resident Playbook, is a drama about doctors working at Yulje Hospital, depicting the growth of residents who dream of becoming wise doctors as they navigate their struggles.
In the K-drama, Kang Yoo Seok plays Um Jae Il, a first-year obstetrics and gynecology resident at Yulje Hospital in Jongno. Um Jae Il has a unique background, having transitioned from being a former idol member with just one hit song to becoming an OB-GYN resident.
Although he is often scolded by his seniors, his passion burns brighter than anyone else's among his peers. With his natural charm and easygoing personality, he is adored not only by obstetrics patients but also by the nurses.
The stills capture glimpses of Um Jae Il's hospital life. In one still, he's seen sharing snacks with the nurses, and in the next, he's looking dejected as he gets scolded by his seniors. His day seems to be a constant cycle of ups and downs, making prospective viewers anticipate his journey.
