FAQ to better understand the series

Hey!

1. When He Yan first joined the army, during a war/fight they lost badly and she was the only one alive. (In episode 4 she talked about it as lying among the corpses. This was from that war.) Liu Bu Wang found her lying and noticed she is alive, so he saved her and found out masked person was a girl. Afterwards he taught He Yan sword moves etc.

2. For this question, this wasn't in the novel but they added it for the plot. So idk how, when or why he taught He Yan swords. It would be better if it is shown as he gifted them swords when they became generals. Also Xiao Jue taught He Yan sword techniques, so he might be the one taught her their family techniques. 

2. was confusing as there was a throwaway line that she met general xiao and got the sword when they were still at the academy. can't remember what ep (33-36) it was but i was like huh.

think it was the visit back to the academy episode

Yeah it was confusing and they didnt explore further..
