I have a confession to make regarding PXR's voice. I remember when I first heard her voice, I was shocked she sounded like that. It didn't sound pleasant to me at first, but then I kept listening, watching lots of her interviews and clips of her hosting days, and I came to the realization that she could command her tones and change her voice at will. I was so impressed. She really puts effort into all that she does. Even customizing herself to fit each character she plays. The way they talk, walk, or move is all different and feels different, too.  I'm proud of her here being able to showcase that she can also dub! 

Actually I know what you mean. I remember being shocked by her original voice too when I heard it. But I realised she has what I would call a “personal voice” and then a “host voice”. I think the personal voice is quite cute and full of personality but not necessarily universal. Whereas the host voice is super polished and clear. The first time I was impressed with her voice was Actors, Please Take Your Place. She hit the cadence of the original so perfectly.

If the tension stays like this, Lian Mo will be amazing.  I’m not sure how it’s supposed to be in the book but Xiao Ran’s MYM seems to see TLY as prey or a toy and it’s really good🔥 I saw a couple Lianmo  posts pop up today. Someone even created a super topic😂

It’s a shame they seemed to have cut  the SCH connection. Two cunning and smart people seem like a good combo.

Yeah, Mym is almost the same in the novel. 

I'm also sad about them cutting their connection. They already changed some scenes of MYM and SCH in the anime, now it seems they removed their connection in the drama. 😮‍💨 They were pretty close in the novel. Especially the part where they went to SMY to ask help in rescuing TLY. 

When I watched BOY, there was also a scene of SCH rescuing MYM.

I think both of PXR’s videos have reached 100k likes so that’s good (Actually I just saw the 2nd video hit 300k 😵🔥)I’m so nervous for her but if the feeling is the same as the book, then that’s good. And, Lianmo seems pretty good from the short clips I’ve seen today. Haha TLY looks properly like he’s being terrorised 😂

I kinda would have liked to see SCH’s crush because it was an unexpectedly endearing side to him. It wasn’t saccharine at all so I don’t think it makes him less cool but rather more human and 3D. I guess we will just have to see the end product.

why is she called Mao The Rabbit (Mao Tu) , her surname is Mu, isnt it more appropriate to be called Mu The Rabbit?  what is the meaning of Mao here?

I don’t speak Chinese so I don’t know how right this is but Google says it means “rabbit” but more specifically the rabbit zodiac which makes sense since MYM is one of the zodiac and is the rabbit.

Chatgpt says Mao can mean cat, cute, fur, etc.. Maybe it's just the old man's nickname for her.

Mu Yumo at the inn was absolutely outrageous. She’s half dead but still an absolute bully🤣 TLY really looked flustered and frazzled  to near death🤣
