015 . Episode Synopsis
Explanation:
Each person will pick one country and one category (dramas, specials, or variety shows) within that country. Then, they will go through the titles released in 2025 and either copy/paste an official English episode synopsis or translate it from a native source if no official English version exists. Or, ultimately, write their own episode synopsis based on their watching experience.
What to do:
> Go to the list of titles released in 2025 for your assigned country and category.
> Open each title, go to Episodes and check if an episode synopsis already exists for each episode and if it's sourced properly. If it does, skip it.
> If an episode synopsis already exists, but it is not sourced, please find the source of it and edit the page. If you cannot find the source for it, please replace it with another synopsis. Also, if the existing synopsis is too long, please shorten it or replace it with another synopsis.
> If there is no episode synopsis, look for one from an official source (such as Netflix, Viki, Disney+, or an official broadcaster's website), from other sources (such as IMDb, TVDb, etc.) or write one yourself. If writing your own synopsis, aim for 2–5 clear sentences summarizing the main events of the episode. Avoid ALL CAPS, excessive punctuation, emojis, or overly dramatic wording.
> If the only official episode synopsis is in a non-English language, translate it into natural, fluent English — don't use overly literal or machine-like translations. You can use certain tools to translate if needed, but please make sure the episode synopsis makes sense.
> Make sure the text doesn’t contain spoilers or first-person commentary. Do not reveal major twists, deaths, endings, secret identities, or final relationship outcomes. However, some spoilers are unavoidable in episode synopses, especially in later episodes. You may mention normal plot developments and episode events when necessary.
> Avoid using fan-written summaries, review sites, or forums as your source. Stick to official or broadcaster platforms. However, if there are no official sources for the episode synopses, you may use them as long as they allow it.
> Make sure to source all your edits when you submit them.
Important:
Please, DO NOT START the project without getting an approval first from me. Someone else might have already gained approval before you, so you will, unfortunately, just waste your time doing double work.
For the countries and categories that have more than 10 pages, we can split the pages between 2 users or more if needed.
Try to finish your work by June 15th, 2026.
Note:
> Once 2025 is finished, we will move to 2024 and so on.
