3. She was pretty

4. Six Flying Dragons- I feel like the beard situation in this show might have been more of a production problem in general lol but i just did not like iton most of the characters tbh

6. the princess royal

9. The Haunted Palace

Doesn't look bad bad, but when he looks like this without it...

But this beard I genuinely hate.

10. White Vengeance

3 of them looked awesome with beard. But Anthony Wong and Jordan Chan looked dirty, unkempt, and barbar (this for Jordan Chan).

The next person can choose

10 dramas with an EPIC (in your opinion) love story. It can span lifetimes, it can be cinderella-esque, it can be whatever you like, it just needs to be well-deserved and satisfying. Please avoid ambiguous or sad endings.

1. Love and Redemption (the angst and self sacrifices, 10 reincarnations with a very satisfying ending. I wish more xanxias has this type of ending. There is even a youtube special set in the modern world of them meeting again)

2. Lovely Runner (just plain no angst romcom in the last episode)

BONUS: Crash landing on you - Forbidden love couples always get me, and their story was so incredible beautiful as well. Lots of angst and many forms of sacrifices made by both. Bonus bc the ending is (understandably) a bit ambiguous.

3. The First Frost - the couple fall in love since school & never changed heart even though seperated for 8 year

4. My Stand-In - well no matter how toxic this drama was, but Ming love for Joe was still one of the greatest. Ming can recognize joe even though joe changed his face

5. Be My Favourite - multiple timelines, multiple variables but the only thing that never changes is the person you love. I absolutely loved the fact that it wasn't just a love story, the MCs character development and love story both grew independently without hingeing on each other like we usually see, but there's also no denying that the ML was definitely the MCs soulmate . There was angst, heartbreak and such an amazing love story that came out of it.

BONUS - Guardian (2018). Not an explicit romance, definitely not a clear ending, but their story.. it's just peak soulmates stuff

6. Bad Buddy

is like Romeo and Juliet without life debt or suicide, super sweet but bringing some heartache especially when Nanon shed tears on the bed after Ohm talking about a girl aww (saved the gifs).

7. Love Like The Galaxy

Met 3 different men, having 3 failed engagements, and finally re-engaged to the third one. That was a long search for true love, really.

Bonus: The Lovers (1994 movie)

Adapted from folktale The Butterfly Lovers. Haven't found anything more romantic than this love story. ML's tomb even opened so that FL could jumped in. Then they became a pair of butterflies, thanks to the monk (FL's mother ex).

8. My Dearest - love story in which leads overcome a lot of difficulties (often caused by themselves and their pride) to be together. It could last for 2 episodes but leads' lack of communication turned it into an epic and angst love story on the war background 😅

Loosely inspired by Gone with the wind, happy ending

9. The Red Sleeve - love story of Yi San and the only woman he loved. Sad but beautiful. It doesn't fulfill you request of the ending, it's kinda ambiguous but relatively happy if you believe they met in the afterlife. I liked the the last episode was dedicated to time after she gone and we saw how her life and death affected so many people and also to see the way ML reigned

10. Bossam: Steal the Fate - complicated love story of star crossed lovers who overcome difficulties and fate to be together

happy ending
