Oh, survival. Not watching much of that theme.

2. As the Gods Will

3. Home School

me either, but I love White Christmas so much, I was interested what other dramas might be similar. I didn't think of it as survival! I thought of it as "there's a criminal amongst us." but I see that's survival. Do you like As the Gods Will and Home School?

4. Q Series - Close your eyes before it's dark

I would recommend this one, I thought the plot was quite well done, albeit a bit slow in pacing

5. Remember 15

They're stuck on an island in this one (hope that counts)

Definitely.

As the Gods Will was cool and diabolical. I got goosebumps since the opening. But there's not much plot. I remember that Re/Member was pretty much like that. A diabolical survival movie. Not watching it though. Re/Member also got a second season which OST being sang by SKZ.

Home School was the very first Thai drama I completed. It got me into Thai dramas. It's pretty awesome with half great actors and half eye-candies. 100% a must-watch.

You got me with "diabolical"!

You're welcome!!

6. 12 Suicidal Teens (movie)

7. my perfect stranger (stuck in past to find a murder suspect as the time traveling car broke down)

8. Limit (2013)

9. Pending Train (2023)

bonus: The Spirealm - they're not trapped in a specific place but in a ccontinues game that each time leads them to another 'escape room' like place they need to find a way out from.

I dunno if the last Bonus was counted as #10, but if not...

If they count (maybe at least one of them does):

10. Happiness - trapped in the apartment complex trying to figure out origin of the disease, and how to survive

Bonus? Dead Friend Forever - DFF - solving their friend's death and who is tormenting them currently

If we have 10, up to someone else to pick.

10 dramas that you have researched (historical/real) background and found to be fairly accurate and well done (please explain why).

1. Moon Lovers

I wanted to know whether ML really married both his step-sister and niece + whether he really killed his brothers for throne and yeah, it's really accurate

2. Shogun (2024)

Because all characters' names were being changed, I spent a lot of time pausing the drama and searching which historical figures this and that characters were based on and reading their background story to understand the drama. While not really delving about them (just read what I need to know to understand the drama), what I read and what I watched were pretty much similar.

3. The Patriot Yue Fei

Qin Hui (wow, I still remember) was sooo annoying. While the drama may exaggerated a lot of points, the plot were pretty similar to real history. Including that time Jin prince (Jin Wu Zhu?) preferred to work for the new emperor instead of taking over the throne or supporting his brother in-law. Quite admirable of him following the previous emperor's last will. Yue Fei was similar too, a stubborn but loyal, a genius and multi-talented general; receiving love from the people, making both the temporary emperor (three emperors lived in the same era throwing away throne like it's a hot potato because they're afraid of death) and the prime minister green with envy, and making Jin people hate him to the bone. Mostly read about the people instead of the events, but some events I read were similar to the drama.
