1. Moon Lovers
I wanted to know whether ML really married both his step-sister and niece + whether he really killed his brothers for throne and yeah, it's really accurate
2. Shogun (2024)
Because all characters' names were being changed, I spent a lot of time pausing the drama and searching which historical figures this and that characters were based on and reading their background story to understand the drama. While not really delving about them (just read what I need to know to understand the drama), what I read and what I watched were pretty much similar.
3. The Patriot Yue Fei
Qin Hui (wow, I still remember) was sooo annoying. While the drama may exaggerated a lot of points, the plot were pretty similar to real history. Including that time Jin prince (Jin Wu Zhu?) preferred to work for the new emperor instead of taking over the throne or supporting his brother in-law. Quite admirable of him following the previous emperor's last will. Yue Fei was similar too, a stubborn but loyal, a genius and multi-talented general; receiving love from the people, making both the temporary emperor (three emperors lived in the same era throwing away throne like it's a hot potato because they're afraid of death) and the prime minister green with envy, and making Jin people hate him to the bone. Mostly read about the people instead of the events, but some events I read were similar to the drama.
