So at first I don't get interested in the plot/don't read the synopsis and only watch it for the actor? I do watch a lot of movies without reading the synopsis for singer actor like Zhou Jie Lun and Zhang Yi Xing. For drama... maybe Japanese drama (on the shorter side), like:

1. Tonbi - Satoh Takeru

2. Ryusei no Kizuna - Ninomiya Kazunari

3. 99.9 Keiji Senmon Bengoshi - Matsumoto Jun

Y'all, I got totally into Fights Break Sphere, which I watched for Wu Lei.

6. Fights Break Sphere kept me riveted with  wire fu, underdog vibes,  Baron Chen(!), magical happenings, and by tossing out new adventures and surprises at supersonic speed. I was pausing and replaying to imitate the mudras and firing imaginary energy bolts around my living space. When I got to the sequence that incorporates ACTUAL FIDGET SPINNERS I thought I'd died and gone to heaven.

All in all, I'm also glad I watched it because getting to see what are basically Wu Lei's kid pictures is way more fun than watching shorts of the adult Wu Lei walking by crowds of screaming fans holding cell phones.

7. Breeze by the Sea (started it primarily because it was the reunion project of Puff Kuo and Chen Bolin, but the story itself was wonderful and completely grew on me)

8. Healer - this took me a few attempts but since I started it for JCW, I reattempted it for JCW then continued it because of the story itself, and JCW.

9. The Vendetta of An- watched it for Cheng Yi. Pure revenge dramas (no romance)aren't my fav genre. But the revenge here isn't abt restoring family name or taking back what is rightly his. It's just revenge for the death of his family.

10. The Art of Negotiation - M&A didn't really get my attention as much as Lee Je Hoon did, but I was genuinely impressed with the plot
