Oh, I love Me to You, You to Me since 100% Senorita and The Classic. The original is still the best.

1. Detective Chinatown 1900

After some thinking, maybe it's not that obvious for Detective Chinatown 1900. So:

1. Okay Madam

I love the original too. I've watched only The Classic, haven't watched 100% Senorita. I also love the original version of Aloha. But now whenever I search for these songs, the cover versions in Hospital Playlist always appeared first. They are great covers but I still prefer the originals. :)

Don't know if it counts as it wasn't obvious in drama itself but I've read bts info:

2. Vincenzo - Italian scenes were filmed using cgi as there were travel restrictions due to covid

3. To the Beautiful You - the scenes in America were memorable to me because it looked like they stole a set from the Teletubbies and said "close enough"

4. enchante - the green screen of france was hilariously fake

5.Shine On Me (i think they supposedely went to hungary or sth) but it was obvious fake

6. Crash Landing on You- North Korea

I don't recommend watching it now. Last year I tried watching a 2013 Taiwanese drama and got bored since it felt so slow-paced and has too little conflict. And so I deleted all Taiwanese drama before 2015 on my ptw list.

Ikr, it's very rare for a remake to match the original.

Thank you. I might consider it. I think sometimes maybe we can also find very good remakes, maybe if we listen to the remakes first. But I agree it’s rare. :)

7.Mr Sunshine  -young and old choi yujin/eugene in america(this is set in the 1900s so it makes sense)

8. The Tale of Rose-huang yimei in Paris - the green screen was too obvious

9. Shine on Me  The cousins' travel abroad had fake background scenes.
