I have a doubt, should be considered attractive in the drama (like sombody in the drama have to say that it looks attractive) or should it be attractive to us?

Should be considered attractive in the drama. 

I think everytime stories have an ugly character, they give them a pair of spectacles , and have a transformation scene when glasses are replaced with lens, they are not considered ugly anymore. So i want stories that don't have this cliché.
