Profile page bugs

I've been trying to change my profile page theme which I do every month. I was unable to change the colors of the backgrounds on the template I originally made. In order to introduce any new colors it required new table boxes. I ended up deleting everything to create the new table boxes. Please forgive me for not knowing correct terminology. 🙏 I was doing my editing on my laptop. I tried a couple of things on my phone and that was completely unsuccessful. The issues that came up:

1. The new method of creating table boxes takes numerous steps instead of being able to drag over the number of boxes I wanted. Nine automatically show up and then have to be manually reduced step by step

2. The dashed lines didn't dash just one box but created dashes on all boxes.

3. Changing the text font is difficult because the small popup box giving the option of "Bold" "Italics", etc blocks the color choices. Those helpful boxes are nice but not when they block the action I want to take.

4. The URL for pictures that I copy from postimages remains after the action in that particular command box. So when I want to add another picture I have to delete the previous URL before pasting the new one.

5. I have no idea how to resize pictures. It used to be simple by tapping the top right hand corner and pulling it down. The option does not work now. The little hand grabby thing was not functioning. And I didn't have much luck with the "auto" option.

6. And the aforementioned inability to change the previous background colors without adding new boxes which did nothing to help with that task.

7. The first few times I tried to delete my work was also problematic. I ended up "selecting all" and hitting the delete button but that didn't work the next time. Was afraid I'd end up stuck with a Frankenstein monster of trials and errors. Was finally able to delete my work.

8. Even when a task works it takes more steps than previously.

9. Oh, and I haven't been able to see what words or sections I've highlighted.

I know MDL is in the midst of changing things up but thought I'd let you know the problems/glitches I've been experiencing while working on my profile page. Thanks!

Edit---#3 The blockage of the text font is not happening tonight. yay! That occurred on the last two nights of trial and errors, but tonight the popup is staying out of the way.

Spoke to early. When I attempted to put text in a different box, the box prompts blocked the text colors.

#5 Thank you Emeraldarrows for helping me figure out the "auto" box. I didn't realize I had to literally put the % sign in but it works like a dream now.

#9 I think the highlight issue is that the highlight color is light blue, the same color I'm using for one of my backgrounds. It's still hard to see on other backgrounds. The hyperlinks are also the same pale blue and tend to be difficult to see on pastel backgrounds

Something I REALLY like is that my profile page doesn't dribble off the screen now on my cell phone, the entire width is shown! 💖

Tap the picture and on auto put a percentage into width, like 85%. It's unfortunately time consuming but you have to keep playing with the percentage until it looks right.
