I loved "the k2" for ML not for FL

OMG, Can we just take a moment to appreciate how Ji Chang Wook had me weak in the knees in this series? He was the ultimate mix of sweet and fierce. Those fight scenes? Absolute fire! Honestly, the only reason I kept my eyes glued to the screen was to watch him unleash some serious moves. And can we talk about his chemistry with Choi Yoo-jin? She was such a fascinating character! Her storyline was so well-developed, and that complicated friendship with our leading man? Total heartstring tugger. That umbrella scene with the sprinklers? Pure magic! Low-key, I wish she had been the female lead instead. Picture this: a powerful businesswoman getting all the protection from our swoon-worthy bodyguard. Now that’s a plot I’d binge-watch!

I have been experimenting with Canva to customize my banners. The site offers a wide range of templates that simplify adding photos and text, and cropping is a breeze. I've also figured out how to create direct links to add to my MDL profile using Postimages. I'm not entirely sure how other MDL users set up their profiles, but this approach has been working well for me so far.

We can definitly take the time.  Ji Chang Wook blew my mind every second of this drama. He was the perfect mix of sweetness and strength. And I lerned that the fight scene in the sauna was supposed to be shot with all those men naked, including  Ji Chang Wook. Oh My... even him half naked was already putting me pre-butterflies state. I cannot even imagine the scene with him naked. .. I would have lost my composure.

Yes, her lines was very well writen. With a lot of hidden meanings and seductive talk. But Hey, Choi Yoo-jin is a seasoned actress. She was amazing. I could feel my pulse going fast and my breath becoming slower as I was watching her dialogues with Ji Chang Wook.  Obviously, she was a vilainness. So she was never supposed to have anything to do with Male Lead. But Oh My... I wanted this to happen just even for a bit because their chemistry was so good. On the contrary Female Lead was a dull character. And honestly was good only on the first episode (in my views) after that she was dull.

Honestly, if Choi Yoo-jin was the Female Lead this drama would have broke records of viewership. Like "Goblin", that you can watch again and again without feeling bored ever.

Some mini dramas are interesting because they don't pass through censorship. So crews are mor free artistically. But when something is noticed as it airs. Chinese censoship can delete scenes after the airing.

I watched a mini drama  in which a king was gay. I didn't notice it because censorship censored the drama after it release. I just noticed that he went beserk when his bodyguard died. And then understood he was gay. Later on MDL a viewer asked me if I saw them kissing. I objected. And she told me that she was surprise that this scenes passed censorship. The king and his bodyguard were lovers but you don't have any clues until the bodyguard dies. Or at least I did not see it. But now that I know it. I would catch the clues it I ever rewatched it.

While her choices were far from ideal, I couldn't shake the feeling that, given more time, she might have found redemption. This character was enveloped in profound sorrow, and I longed to embrace her, to convey that she was valued and loved. Yet, the conclusion of the series left me utterly astonished; it felt like a poignant culmination of her journey. The moment when Jang Se Joon made that final choice was incredibly impactful, a brief yet unforgettable scene that will linger in my memory for years to come.

Like "Goblin", that you can watch again and again

Oh my God, I can't even begin to express how much I adore the bromance between Goblin and the Reaper! No other pair has come close to these two. When it comes to those heart-pounding scenes that leave you breathless, we absolutely have to talk about the remarkable sacrifice our Goblin makes for the Reaper. The depth of that sacrifice is truly extraordinary. "Forgive me, Your Majesty. I will now send word to you that I've died a heroic death." At that moment, I felt as if I had lost my own life alongside him; it was the ultimate act of sacrifice. The scene where the Reaper breaks down, seeing his friend perish, is simply heart-wrenching. But the moment that hits me the hardest is when we hear those words, "Am I that man in the end? Am I Wang Yeo? Was that young and foolish face mine in the end?" Perfection!

You've definitely caught my attention! What’s the title of the mini-drama you mentioned? It sounds like it’s right up my alley!

 Regarding censorship, I've observed that many miniseries originate from China. I’ve come across comments suggesting that filming outside of China can be a workaround for this issue. It’s a fascinating approach, but it’s unfortunate that some series face such restrictions. I believe the scenes that get cut could really enhance the storyline, and it’s a pity that some viewers miss out on the complete experience.

Doona!

I only watched 1 episode from both of these dramas before putting one in on-hold limbo (Doona!) and outright dropping Eye Love You (even ML's spectacular smile couldn't keep me watching, can't remember the last time I cringed so much watching a supposed legit show, yikes). I started both because they seemed RR (*cough* they were on Ree's list) but I wasn't moved 😬 I think out of the two, Doona! has the more RR overall from what I did see. It was giving cool girl x bbg and she also was pursuing him (idk if it changes later but she was quite pushy from what I remember) so yeah, I'd say that qualifies, even if more subtle. As for Eye Love You, the relationship did not seem RR to me at all, but I do think he ends up as her employee and she's a CEO so technically speaking RR? I wanted to continue it to see how their work dynamic would continue but man... that first ep had me like 😬 the entire runtime- But since you watched it, does it get better? I see you didn't score it very high either so I guess not T_T

Maybe there's something with the projects this man chooses 'cause I'm having the same experience in The Worst of Evil xD Seems like he really nails the submissive like a guard-dog type  xD

The struggle is real, folks- MLs be having better chemistry with the villainesses than the heroines FR- Like, give me some bad girl x good guy pls and ty (yes, that one brief scene in Gyeongsong Creature lives rent-free in my mind...)

Yes yesssss, it happens a lot! Some of my favourites are generally disliked by the comment sections while some of my most-disliked are praised to heaven. If it seems interesting, just go for it!

Definitely agree. Maybe it's because I gravitate less towards strictly romance as a genre (tho my stats might disagree) or maybe I'm missing something, but chemistry isn't all that important to me. Sure, it's definitely a treat if it IS there but I can still watch the drama/movie just fine if it isn't as long as the writing is solid. I'm more invested in dynamics than chemistry ig? idk anymore xD
