This one is very informative. I learned a lot watching this movie. I loved it too : MDL pinned it on my top rated movies for 2024. The actors are great and the one playing ML is one of the best kissers out there. All his kisses are believable in every drama that I have watched. Enjoy.
The Other Half of Me and You and let me tell you, I don't know if I like this. Because they completely reverse everything..
I find it interresting to see a different version of the regular tropes. I did not watch it but I take my ticket.
The last drama with that RR positioning was "Her Phoenix Majesty" for me, but the script was not good enought in my views. "Little miss sunshine" ML and Cold Warrior FL.

You see, I think costume drama would work better than modern for this type of drama. Although I guess I just don't like the actor in The Other Half of Me and You because he's not that good looking.
Since I'm bi, I tend to evaluate whether I like both actress and actor and it's fun, but not necessarily when I deem the actor to be lacking or either one of them is not my type.
But I understand because I'm not much of a beauty myself lmao
So, I don't really like the ML from this drama... although he's funny, I'll give him that. The FL is stunning.

I am sure a lot of us viewers prefer handsome/ beautiul lead actors. For instance I watched the first 2 episode of "Dynamite Kiss" (rich man/poor woman). I was mezmerised by the beauty of the actor and the actress. Oh My... such a threal to watch. So I totally get what you say.

Yeah it's Very Bad. I didn't know there were safe ways to do bdsm... and also I've never seen 50 Shades of Grey and don't plan to either. I don't like male doms as much as female doms. But even if femdom, it would still be Bad if things got out of control. Even if I've seen this movie and liked it, I am still on the fence about it all.
That being said, I just finished it and gave it a 9. It could fit the "questionable themes" list of movies I am developing. And I did like that it's RR. If it wasn't RR, I might not have seen or enjoyed it as much. It helps that they're both hot and go well together, great chemistry.

I don't know why, but most men in general leave me unimpressed (even if they're conventionally pretty). As for women, same thing usually but without the general fear and disgust that men provoke in me. I may be indifferent most times. It is what it is.
But give me Xiao Zhan all day everyday and I'll be happy. He's good looking and has the ingredient that makes me personally want him. I'll know at a glance if I like someone... idk why. But then again, this might not be a crush. Just limerence? I hate that term but all my crushes have been unrequited. It's quite a pain, so I went "let me just watch people fall in love on screen and never try that myself again". This works until I find someone again, be it irl or celeb. Matters not, but it's a quite exhausting state to be in.

Same here.I remember in "seven" the guy was hanging upside down in the dark. At first it had the form of a beehive and then we undersdood that it was someone and not bees but flys. How creepy

Totally agree. I am tired of dumb FL and bad script, generally speaking. I tend to watch shows with RR or RR elements. Or else it is boring.

Dear friend ROMCOM IS COMING BACK with this show. I watched the first 2 episodes 3 times, because it iis so hilarious, sassy , visually beautiful ( budget wise) and the leads have firery chemistry ( also because of directing).
I also did not like the poster but when i read in the sumary that FL pretends to be a mother to keep her job meanwhile she has the attraction going on with ML her superior. I wanted to know how that would unfold. And for the cast.

haha yeah, that's true. I don't have romance in my life. At this point, I got used to it. In my early 30s and never had a proper relationship, nor dated around, no hook-ups nada. Watching people fall in love on screen is my favorite pass-time though. ^^
Alright, I'll check out that drama, maybe it's good for me, too.
