I don't know which one to watch first, Blossoms of Power or Key to the Phoneix Heart! They both seem so good! 😩
I'm almost caught up with the new episodes of BoP and 3 eps into Key to the Phoenix Heart. Both are so good! I'm in heaven right now.
BoP: they do a great job in balancing the humor of an infatuated ML and transmigrated FL who is Mary Sue levels of perfect with the tone of a serious palace politics drama. They are interwoven so well and such a joy to watch.
KttPH: not too far in yet but Hou Ming Hao is a win in any acting role and I've always loved Ai Mi. Xie family is very refreshing too.
I plan to just catch up on episodes of BoP and KttPH then normally when I'm waiting on eps I just watch anothor drama. So I'm basically watching 3 at the same time.
I started a modern drama (The First Frost) while waiting for KttPH to air, so now I'm watching 2 dramas. Haven't checked out BoP yet, but I plan do so at a later time.

I'm a big fan of Fan Shuai Qi & this is a great role for Meng Zi Yi.
And I love a good cliff fall!
The only problem is I am not sure watch to watch while I am waiting for new episodes to land.
Heard a lot of good things about Blossoms of Power like it's topping Maoyan chart (I'm watching the modern drama that's on #2) and that it got S+ rating from Yunhe like 4 days (cmiiw) after it aired. And seems like Meng Zi Yi's acting there was highly praised. Happy for He Yu, he got his momentum. Will still skip it. Oops.

I started this last night and am on ep 7 now. I'm hoping to finish tonight. This is a 10/10 for me so far, even though I usually avoid Horror.

I finished it this morning. While its a good one time watch, and every single cast member is outstanding, it somehow is missing something for me. I don't even know what.
The way they have ended the show, I hope they intend to have a second season where they explain the mythological world a bit more.
