Welcome! Are you watching any BLs right now? Do you have any favorites?

 dora:
Looks like there will be no Eye Contact season2

It's a shame (not to mention so sad for the actors). I was (seriously) looking forward to continuing with this uniquely fascinating train wreck.

Your self-restraint is exemplary. *cough*

For some reason I am feeling very nostalgic, so I am re-watching some of my favourite scenes from older BLs. I just have to say that as much as ZeeNuNew makes a good couple today, my heart will forever be with ZeeSaint. I cannot believe that it has been so long that Zee has a whole new partner now both in real life and on screen lol.

Like how has five years (2020) gone by already; why am I getting older.............I think I am having a moment 😕

Right time is supercharged, we lay down to sleep and wake only to find it's 2026 😂. With regards to ZeeSaint, I don't believe they were ever a couple outside of their on-screen work. I do believe that Zee had strong feelings for Saint and wished for it to perhaps be more, but I believe that Saint was reeling from so much coming off of Love By Chance and all of the controversy he experienced there with Perth's former manager making accusations that he was doing unsavory things to get his roles, that I don't believe Saint was in a position emotionally to like anyone or accept anyone affections.

I also believe that Saint and Perth his co-star on that series, actually liked one another...but again with Perth's former manager making accusations against Saint at the time, that he would later on walkback, I also felt was because the manager might have known that Perth was perhaps gay but closeted. Mind you I don't know Perth, but I look at him now, that he is under new management, has matured past some of the controversial things that he once said about gay people and leaving the genre of film for which he has massively profited off of; as well as the passing of his father, has made him freer to be who he always was...and I believe he has found his a good on and off-screen partner in Santa. I don't know about Saint, if he has found his partner but I think he too has achieved a level of calm in the industry and a whole lot of success with his company.

Anyways, back to Zee, I like that he has found his person, but I hate the drama that both of them are doing right now...I'm only watching it for Jimmy. I feel like NuNew has changed a lot since we meet him through Cutie Pie, today he seems to be a persona and not someone that is his true self...I hope he didn't change himself into being more feminine to please or be acceptable in a relationship with Zee...ijs.

Knock Out - episode 8

It took me almost three hours to finish this episode because I am doing so many other things at the same time. I basically watched this episode as if I was skim reading, so I caught all the important events of the episode.

Glad to know that Itt has an excusable reason for his betrayal, and that despite the betrayal Mawin stood up for him and stood beside him.

As the story continues to unravel I appreciate the fact that we have established couples from early so that focus can be placed entirely on the conflicts (corruption, extortion, illegal fighting, societal disparities, etc.). We get to see the couples react and fight against issues as a unit while getting some lovely romantic moments.

Based on the preview for episode 9 we will be witnessing the story getting very murky as it takes a dive into the underbelly of Thai boxing.

Pit Babe Season 2: Uncut - episode 9

Watched.

Hopefully there will be a lot more Kenta and Kim next episode.

I also like it when the couples are established and then deal with other conflicts together, but this requires a story that is more that just the romance. I guessed that Phuwis might be behind all the evil doings—I never trusted him—but to have Pakorn involved as well is horrible for Thun. I like that the couples are being loyal to each other and forgiving, with the understanding that the situation goes beyond their control.

i would have liked more ThunKeen moments because they are so good together but im still enjoying the show a lot.

 Jadeheart:

I'm loving Memoir of Rati so much! I get completely drawn in each episode, and everything around me just fades away from existence.

Im also loving this show. I think the characters are already full of depth and emotion and I can’t wait to see what happens next.

my one complaint is that im tired of “you’re gay! Oh no we’re ruined!” Scandals. I know this is realistic for the time period but it hurts my heart every time. Why are people so cruel.

while BLs with more complex stories are often more rewarding in the end, I need breaks for pure fluff so i don’t get too emotional. But I get emotional easily so there is that problem . Yesterday I cried during ballboy tactics, I feel you linger in the air, and the kdrama twenty-five twenty-one. By bedtime I ended up rewatching a little Your Sky for the forth time just to feel better. Yes, the one father is disapproving, but otherwise it’s a world of gay acceptance and happy endings. Which I always need more of. And all the couples are so adorable. This is pretty much my perfect comfort BL.

Quick update:

This trailer certainly gave a lot of the plot, but I am so confused due to being overloaded. This will require a lot of world building. As it relates to the whole Omega and Alpha universe and all that it entails, I will reserve my thoughts. I would like to see how this plays out first.

i said I was going to watch Your Sky but I ended up on social media watching endless clips and bts from Ballboy Tactics, Revenged Love, and the Next Prince. This was also an excellent way to boost my spirits. ❤️❤️❤️

(3) After a bit of a JBL drought, I'm excited to see the four new ones coming in June and early July: the sequel to “I Became The Lead in a BL Drama" (which I loved), “Depth of Field”, “Stay By Your Side After The Rain”, and “10 Things I Want To Do Before I Turn 40”. Fingers crossed that these get timely international releases (sadly not always the case with JBLs).

I'm so glad that all four of these are airing or will soon air on Gagaoolala. Yay for Gaga, especially for its strength in JBLs!

Although I'm underwhelmed (so far) by the sequel to "Lead in BL Drama", I'm feeling quite engaged with "Depth of Field" - and the two coming next week ("After the Rain" and "10 Things") both look promising.

Although I'm less sensitive about things, I likewise don't enjoy this particular theme, as realistic as it may be (and as it certainly was in the socially very conservative environment in which I grew up, where even the word "gay" was taboo). This is one of the aspects that makes me love Asian BLs, as well as some of the more recent Western series like "Heartstoppers" and "Love Simon": They make me feel good rather than crappy. (I can get plenty of the latter in real life.)

Absolutely! "Your Sky" is now on my go-to comfort re-watch list.

Yes, this social media stuff can be alarmingly addictive - and not only BL actors, also cuties such as one of my latest love interests, the fascinatingly adorable Hu Yetao (from "Chuang Asia S2"). I wish he would do a BL with BamBam! (See what social media is doing to me?  Argh!)
