I finished The journey to killing you. Well, this wasn’t for me. I’ll just keep it at that.
Interesting feedback. Although I'm usually keen on JBLs and watch most, I haven't started this one and am doubtful that I will: I'm not generally keen on the yakuza/mafia theme, especially if heavy or dark, and there's nothing here that's really grabbing me.

Indie Art Girl:
2 new BL titles with no release dates yet
Thanks so much - and since this reminds me of our CSO and Chief Updater:
@RXinw: So glad you got through the record-breaking hurricine relatively unscathed. Phew!

dora:
WeTV announced their 2026 line up!
WeTV continues to step up their game in BL. I'm likewise glad to have my subscription (two-year deal which I got back whenever at a really good price)
It's funny how things have shifted since I started with BLs: Back then, the two key subscription-based platforms were Viki and Gaga. Gaga continues to be strong on content (especially JBLs), albeit lacking in technical platform functionality and reliability, but Viki seems to be drifting away from BLs, so my two most indispensible platforms are now iQiyi and Gaga.
Potentially useful tip for others: When watching on my Windows PCs, I've recently been finding that Gaga works much better on Firefox than on Chrome.

dora:
Therapy Game ep2
i was much more invested after this week’s episode.
Ditto. With today's episode 2 (which I just finished), I'm declaring "Therapy Game" a winner.

dora:
I haven’t started Chosen Home yet, but Pinks Triangle, Therapy Game, School Trip, and Akasaka s2 are all so good!
I've long since declared "Punks Triangle" a winner. "School Trip" isn't brilliant so far, but I'm thoroughly enjoying it (not least because of my perverse fetish for nerd boys in glasses).
As I wrote on page 2352, I'm really enjoying "Chosen Home". @Dora, I think it's the kind of thing you'll really like!
I haven't yet started "Akasaka" S2: While I liked S1, I didn't viscerally love it as much as many others in this group - but yeah, I'll definitely watch S2 as soon as I have capacity.
Aside from the quality level of many current/recent JBLs, it's also nice to recognise more actors from other JBLs - hopefully a sign that doing too many BLs isn't bad for male Japanese actors' careers? It's also fun to see how totally different their characters are compared to the roles I originally know them from. (Just to take the example of "Therapy Game", there'sTaishin from "Takara's Treasure" but with a totally different personality, and gosh, Minato's older brother is almost unrecognisable as Kazuhito from "Living With Him".)

niko:
has anyone watched "our dining table?"
Yes, and like quite a few others in this group, I loved it! (Best little kid actor ever!)
Be sure not to miss the separate (and equally delightful) "spin-off", which is really more of an epilogue.

Benizakura:
I just completed Love in Translation.
I loved "Love In Translation"- but admittedly because of Daou and especially Offroad and his magical smile. Without them, it would probably have been just another forgettable Thai BL.
I know you already have "Century of Love" in your queue. but I'll add that this was my personal "Best BL of 2024", and it was broadly very popular in this group. I hope you like it.

Indie Art Girl:
He's absolutely adorable and such a cutie pie!
(re "Me and Who") I'm also really enjoying this series. And yes, Park is a total cutie pie - and with this dual-character role, proving that he's a good actor, too!

I'm now set to watch today's first two episodes of "Peach Trap" - with high expectations!
