I agree with your comments on the NC scenes.
I didn’t trust myself to rate it accurately because of the upsetting parts but if you and Mr. P thought it was great, i know it really was excellent! It’s nice to be in good company!
it’s really special when explicit NC scenes aren’t just fan service and really contribute to the emotional experience. i don’t feel many shows really achieve this.

Thanks Dora and Mr. P for the feedback on The Love Never Sets . I watched the first 2 episodes and I’m really enjoying it so far. I like the story, I know it's different from the norm and touches sensitive topics, but that's what I like about it. The acting and the chemistry are good so I'm sold. Also, the girl who plays Sea is so attractive!
I have decided to give Secrets Happened on the Litchi Island a chance again. The tiny font for subtitles irks me to no end though.chirisu:

Imma still watch it. Just gotta get past my reluctance with the subs. I know it's worth at least a watch, so I'm over here running in circles around the question "so when should I watch this?"
That being said, going back to thriller will be good for me. A change of pace. I'll also go for RR series. Finally found the relationship dynamic I like for F/M couples back in April this year but since then I have only seen a handful of these. Was too busy with burnout and irl stuff and also BL, to be watching anything else lol

It's nice that it's available on YT in UHD - and not only because of the tiny hard-coded subs: For such a low-budget production with a bare-bones crew, the cinematography is strikingly beautiful, and a pleasure to watch in UHD, even if on a smaller screen.
