Our Dinning Table : It's not an intense story arc but it's sweet and healing. Both MCs have gone through difficulties, and unintentionally help each other overcome their trauma.
The Eight Sense : Emotional but has a happy ending. Main character has a traumatic past that has caused him to suffer from severe depression. Happy but realistic ending.
See Your Love : Not an injury but one of the main characters is both deaf and mute. He has fears about being a burden that the other main character helps to ease.

Our Youth - A Youth Romance, a brilliant student finds himself attracted to the troubled male protagonist upon learning about his abusive parent. Their connection is genuinely touching, and I admire the chemistry they share. The drama special offers extra content, so if you decide to watch it, be sure not to miss out!

- Addicted Cut short due to censorship. Adapted from the novel "Are You Addicted?" (你丫上瘾了) by Chai Ji Dan.
- Advance Bravely Cut short due to censorship. BTS found on YouTube are plentiful and entertaining, showing this was far from bromance. Censored Adaptation Of Same-sex Original Work
- Revenged Love Kudos to Zi Yu and Tian Xu Ning who play Wu Suo Wei and Chi Cheng. They did a superb job pulling us into their story. Adapted from the web novel "Counter Attack" by Chai Ji Dan.
- Secrets Happened on the Litchi Island I absolutely loved the cinematography of this short series. It was also unusual in the way the story unfolded. The nonlinear narrative worked for this short series. Xiao Zhi and Chen Li's story unfolded like a blooming flower, with every shared interaction giving sustenance to that flower...until the end of the summer has a fully bloomed flower enveloping them (and us) in a heady scent.
- Stay with Me This is an incredible BL, full of details and "clues" about the MLs' growing closeness, from the posters and artwork on the walls and the color schemes of clothing, lighting, etc. You can search for the Reddit on-air discussions for additional details, which was esp. useful for me on culture/language insights. SWM was adapted from book 1 of the novel "Are You Addicted?" by Chai Ji Dan, who was the screenwriter for this drama. I'm disappointed that Season 2 was cancelled. If you want a HEA, stop at ep 23.
- The Untamed A classic. Although this was a Censored Adaptation Of Same-sex Original Work, they had done a fabulous job letting us know how much the MLs cared for and loved each other. I loved the scene where drunk Lan Zhan gives chickens to Wei Ying, a common Chinese betrothal ritual. Exceptional chemistry between the leads. Reasons why I consider The Untamed a BL
- Word of Honor Don't stop at episode 36. Watch the short epilogue/episode 37, Word of Honor - Epilogue. Wen Ke Xing is my favorite role for Gong Jun.
- Wuliang Short film, Wuxia, labeled as bromance, my take is BL.
