Does anyone know lgbtq+ media like books (an imaginary story that has real factors in it like the real circumstances but not a real story.) or documentaries on youtube or a collection of real experiences in book or video form or bls/lgbtq+ stories. Generally just lgbtq+ stories imaginary or real or a mix of both in written or filmed form. I hope you can understand what I mean
i've only watched one movie that might fit this description. Asog is in itself a mix of both real life and fictional elements. it's a story about a nonbinary drag queen that also incorporates a lot of social commentary and education about the Phillipines. very good, very underrated. it wasn't even on mdl until i added it and i really think more people should check it out.
there are also some documentaries on my watchlists that might also fit what you're looking for. just know that i haven't seen any of these yet so i can't vouch for quality or content. these are all trans stories as naturally, that's i'm interested in :)
Today, You Are You - taiwanese documentary short film about a trans man
I Am Here: We Are Here Together - japanese documentary about transgender people and the stuggles they face. this has very few watchers on both mdl and letterboxd so i'm not sure how easy it will be to find
i also have some documentaries from my letterboxd watchlist that aren't on mdl. same as above, i haven't seen these yet so i can't necessarily vouch for them but i've heard good things about each of these.
Shinjuku Boys - documentary about three trans men working as hosts in a japanese nightclub
Dressed in Blue - a documentary from the 80s about trans women in spain
Little Girl - a documentary about a young trans girl and her family's journey to acceptance

want to reduce my CW list or just watch not so many bls in one week. Can anyone recommend me a short drama bl ( with all episodes together max. or about 2 hours) or a good vertical drama bl or a movie (max. 1.45 h) or if longer but good please specify that it is longer ( then I am watching it on the weekend or in my time after the work is done.
Benizakura recently put together a list with bl movie recommendations so i'll link that for you here. my favorite gay movies are in there as well as recs from many of us here
as for short series & short movies i have a few that i've watched and liked:

Long Time No See - short series, 5 eps 17 min each (about 1.5 hours total). i remember liking the characters and their relationship.
Love From Outta Space - short film, 22 min. cute short story with Off and my beloved Gun.
Sweet Curse - short film, 31 min. enjoyable, i liked the premise
