also! i was snooping around a bit today and found a list by fiflydramalover of titles with polyamory (and alternative relationship styles). i've only skimmed it but it looks like there's a few titles with bl/gay relationships. figured i'd share in here in case anyone else is interested

I just finished watching the final episode of Me and Thee. OMG it was so good! What a fantastic ending! Super happy it had a really well done and sweet ending. And the very end where they were kinda breaking the fourth wall with that fun little meta-fictional moment was great lol.

Good news for fans of "Me and Thee": Special episode announced

OMG that's awesome! I REALLY loved the series so much. I definitely would love to get more of them in a special episode.

Thank you! I’m glad someone has made a list like this. The more diversity, the better, imo.

Im rewatching Cosmetic Playlover because s2 just came out and I needed to refresh my memory of s1. I haven’t finished but I would say I’m enjoying it a lot more this time. The first time I watched it I was annoyed with the focus on their work but this time I knew what to expect.

Cosmetic Playlover Season 2 released ep 1 on Gaga this weekend

When I do a re-watch of something that I like mostly but not entirely, I likewise usually find that I enjoy it more the second time through for the reason that you say: I can adjust my expectations, focus more on what I like, and tune out what I don't (or even speed-watch or skip parts).

In the case of "Cosmetic Playlover" (which falls into this "mostly but not entirely" category), I rewatched the final episode of S1 to remind myself of where it ended although not the entire series, as I already remember it well enough for me to continue with S2.

So far, I can't yet say whether the story and excessive work focus will be any better than S1, but in any case, I like the characters/actors.

Thanks, interesting to see what's out there, even if this huge list is a bit overwhelming.

Excluding the four titles that I count as normal BLs ("Tokyo in April Is...", "His", "TharnType" and "End of the World With You"), I've watched only three, all of them Japanese:

"Me, My Husband, and My Husband's Boyfriend": Just so-so, started interesting but then dragged. The two male leads are very familiar to me from lead roles in other BLs (respectively "Kamisama no Ekohiiki" and "Jack O'Frost", both of which I loved, so at least I enjoyed seeing them again).

"Kita-kun, Our Shared Love": Not much of a romance (or BL), but a cute, entertaining comedy about polyamory (MMFF with M hinge) starring actors who are very familiar to me from lead roles in other BLs (respectively"Takara's Treasure" and "My Personal Weatherman", both of which I loved) -  especially Iwase Yoji, who is an adorable cutie-patootie.

"Two Husbands, One Wife" (Netflix): As the title suggests, the BL aspect is only tangential, but nevertheless a nice, cute series. I enjoyed it much more than I thought I would.

tbh i'm not really sure what criteria makes a streaming service "official" or not? ig besides not being a pirate site, which gaga isn't. i don't use it much so i don't know that much about it but it seems official enough to me..?  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

but i do really hope they add more countries to MDL in the future. it seems like they've started to add anime lately?? which seems a bit unnecessary considering MAL already exists but who knows. hopefully that means they've got the staff to keep working on adding other countries also.

Yeah, Gagaoolala looks official to me too.

Not sure if they're ever gonna add Vietnam.. we can only hope.

i voted too!

honestly i don't really know much about the admin here or how stuff works behind the scenes. but hopefully if enough people keep talking about it publicly, they'll take note of it and work to get it added.

Thanks for the votes! And yes, talking about it is key, I think. I'll do my best to work on this in the coming weeks. So far I think commenting on drama pages with the specific links, for voting and for support, might work in bringing awareness to this issue more.

 Indie Art Girl:

Haha, I was thinking it too, but wasn't going to say anything, lol. I love that we are all sorts of generations here in the club!  🫶🏼

But I feel too young to be an aunt at 28 😆 But I would be glad to be one in real life.

Newsflash! I googled the webtoon to see if it's BL, and supposedly it is ... although it would surprise me to see Boss in a BL without Noeul. Anyone know more?

Alright so, I successfully sent a comment with links to the support and suggestions pages for GagaOOLala to be added to the list of streaming services.

I sent a comment to every BL and GL drama from a score of 9.0 to 6.8 (almost, I kinda lost interest at 7.0 tbh, so I cherry picked from there, a few titles for the last). I also sent the same comment to almost all currently airing BL/GL and also the ones upcoming that have a date (2026).

Hope this is going to bring in more votes and eyes on the issue. I am tired so I'm going to take a break now... please let me know if you got any other ideas for this. How can we reach the MDL devs and for them to take the favorable decision.

Thank you.

Does anyone know how I can find my votes? I looked at every page but only found one vote that belongs to me.

I finished  watching I feel you Linger in the Air and I have to say I really liked it. It is in my top 10 bls. Maybe I will change my mind later but it was a good watch although I put it on hold for one month. I shouldn't watch one drama in one day anymore :)

Then you should have 4 votes available already. I don't really know how the votes work, but once the feature has been implemented, the votes should release back to you. You can find the suggestions you voted for by looking for the green rectangles. Those show how many votes you sent in for every suggestion.

Are you sure you checked all the 63 pages of suggestions? Some votes might be among those.
