i started cat for cash last night on a total whim and so far i'm liking it!! i'm only one episode in but the talking cats really aren't bothering me like i thought they would. i like that they get an explanation for why they can talk and so far at least them talking is used sparingly and intentionally. but i did end up having to watch with headphones bc all the meowing sounds were making my irl cats start to go crazy 😅😅
but overall firstkhao + all the kitties makes for one big cute fest so i'm looking forward to watching more :))
Hihi! I just started watching kdramas recently last year around october so my BL list is small aside all the dramas I've watched, but I really enjoyed S. C. I. Mystery, (While it's not explicitly a BL on the C-Drama (On the original novel it is a BL!!) because of chinese censorship, the relationship between ML's is amazing and the plot too)
Now, I am open to any BL recommendations, that's why I mostly wanted to join and also see what people comment about different dramas ^^ Btw love your Ha-Kyun pfp!!

One of the things I quietly appreciate about Thai BLs is the broadcast restrictions which Thailand has on depictions of smoking, unsafe driving, drinking, etc. Given how controlled China is, I'm surprised they don't have something like this, too (at least on smoking).

Just a few minutes until the release of ep. 1 of "Love Upon A Time" and ep. 5 of "Way To You". I can't decide which to watch first, so I'll switch back and forth.

I could be wrong but I think China has a heavy smoking population and hasn't gotten as far along as other countries in reducing the habit and changing to healthier policies.
One of my brothers goes to Croatia for work and they smoke almost everywhere. That's the one thing he hates about going there. It's hard when you live in a country that bans public smoking and then there u are sitting in a cafe in another country and the next table lites up while ur eating. Ugh. He goes home smelling like an ashtray. ☠️
I can usually tell if a country allows public smoking as soon as I get off the plane and into their airport.
Anyways, I don't mind a few drama scenes with smoking if thats part of the character role, but throughout the drama hits different.
