The Proper Way to Write Love EP 1

For anyone who's already watched, heeelp! 🙋🏻‍♀️

I must be really dumb cuz I understood zero percent of the first 50 secs of the first ep. Now I'm distracted and need to know what was happening before I can keep watching. 🤔

Or is it explained right after the credits?

Sorry I wish i could remember better so i could help you. I guess I could rewatch the opening if you’re still confused

Yep I am still confused. I left it to watch smth else. 😂

I added an explanation above

(re "Proper Way To Write Love") Although the opening scene isn't reflective of the series other than as a foreshadowing of an inflection point in the story, I don't think the series will be your cup of tea anyways.

@Dora, thanks for that explanation. Even after I re-watched the opening, I still couldn't figure how it fit into the story ... until I read your spot-on explanation.

Ok it’s two boyfriends and one is trying to force the other into something sexual. The one who was being the aggressor says the face his boyfriend makes after he throws him off is the face he has been waiting to see.

This is the setup to tell us that one guy entered the relationship to get revenge. The show fills in the backstory. They do fall in love for real, don’t worry. Also the scene may come up again chronologically in the relationship but there are no other assault or attempted assault scenes. It is actually quite a nice story, I thought.

Oh ok, got it. I started over 3x but still didn't understand, so thanks! I'll go back to it soon. It's getting late for me.

@Mr. P - You might be right, but I'll make an attempt. 😆

I could be wrong. The good thing about JBL series is that they're relatively short, so sure, give it a try.

Although the characters and chemistry are a bit weird, it's a decent series, and the story becomes more interesting as the perspective later (in episode 6) shifts from Hiroshi's to Natsuo's, revealing a very different view of the backstory. (This "polyperspectivity" can be a very engaging literary technique.)

As Dora writes, the series is a love story, albeit with a somewhat painful backstory, so don't let the opening scene give you the wrong idea.

I love polyperspectivity and I was looking for a JBL to binge this month I think I'm gonna watch this one too. But I will try to watch a bit or finish My school president before.

no, you're not the daily photos thread =D

mr p and domundi fans like me, they have a new artist =D

Nick, who drew attention at the Duang With You finale event, has joined Domundi TV.

The Franco-Thai artist is the company’s first half-Western member.

So i checked the calendar and we have a lot of bl series starting this week 🔥🔥

Tuesday: magic move 🪄

Thursday: fake fact lips 👄

Friday: love of silom 😍

Saturday: flower boy 🌺

Sunday: one year ⌛

I think I will watch Love of Silom as it airs since I can't resist UpPoom and I will try the first episode of Flower boy out of curiosity and choose if I wait or not.

What is everyone choice ?

Oh là là, Nick is definitely a cutie-patootie!💕 Then again, I would expect no less from Domundi.

Both look promising, and both have good actors in the lead roles. With several of my current series reaching the end, I think I'll be able to start on both.

I will watch the first episode of flower boy and if I like it I try to wait until a fourth or the half of the show is released. For the rest I'll wait for feedback here and generally because I am busy this and next week (but I still watch four hours/ have time but won't start many new shows and only watch shows that have finished airing or I started watching).

What is the priority option on my list (advanced) / for what is it? I want to sort my ptw list so I see what I want to watch (I have over 1000 titles on it and 200 have no year listed so not announced or canceled) but verticals are not my priority so I want to sort how reviews, my interest and other things like availability because some aren't even in the internet (alternatively) so no streaming service has them and almost nobody knows them.

An official start date has finally been announced for "Smile After Tears" (Taiwan): May 20th. Not sure about an international platform, but it seems Gaga-ish.

Out of curiosity, I took a look at your CW list but there were so many titles 😆

Are you doing the challenge with the PTW list ? I can't remember the name

After reading the synopsis I think it will be cute and sad. I'm interessed !

Tiffany:

Yes, it's a total mess - a mix of stuff I'm actively watching, stuff I was watching but then got distracted (not necessarily a reflection of whether it's good or bad), stuff that I watched but then forgot to rate, stuff that I watched but wanted to re-watch (at least in part) before deciding, and some titles that I meant to mark as PTW but accidentally marked as CW. Me bad! One day I'll go through and clean it up.
