I have not been able to be around, because I've been in a panic as things have been getting very dire here for me in my personal life after losing my job a couple months ago and trying to figure out how I'm going to pay rent and bills. I have never been this scared before in my life. Thankfully family was able to help me just barely scrape by for now.
i feel you, unemployment can be really difficult. especially during times like this. i'm sorry you're struggling. but nothing lasts forever, i'm sure you'll figure something out. and in the meantime i hope you're still able to find some time to rest and relax

It can feel like the end of the road without any escape sometimes when faced with financial difficulties. I have this experience ever time my tuition becomes due. A law degree is not cheap, not to mention other expenses that come with living. It makes you wonder why you were not born rich. It also makes you think that the world is unfair when you look at some of the people who are rich, how they got rich, and how they spend their money. As the Jamaican saying goes, "Di world nuh level."
I have often found solace in the fact that no one day lasts forever. The world keeps going and every day is a new day holding the unknown. What if there is an unknown that will bring you peace of mind? Just do not give up and miss the opportunity to collect your unknown fortune, even if it does not solve all your problems, but it at least gives some relief - one problem out of the lot gets solved.
Side note: I see they also gave us a little something extra in episode 5 (and I'm making a silent virtual eye gesture looking directly at you RXinw lol).
I have been reading good things about this series. I will soon jump into it.

Yessss, that day I commented I was really pissed off, lol. My tables required a lot of correcting using the updated editor which I didn't understand very well and sometimes doesn't make any sense.
tbh not all the bugs are worked out yet as far as I'm concerned. There's still a lot for admin to do. My fear is what I think are bugs might be the new norm. 💀

Before I pick one or maybe two titles to start, I had a short list of BLs to watch in April first with input from a few members here....and I lost it. **sigh**
I feel very distracted rn and can't sit still for long, so maybe a drama with shorter eps. That leaves Fake Fact Lips and Wishing Upon the Shooting Stars.
I don't think I've heard much chatter about the latter title...
Wishing Upon the Shooting Star has been in my top must watch when a new episode updates. It's an imaginative plot with very lovely family dynamics. The romance for the main couple has been slow to build, looks like some progress will start to form in the next episode, but it's understandable and right for it to move slowly. The second couple is down right adorable. There is a lot I can say about this drama, mostly all good things, but it would kind of ruin the journey.

Love Is Better the Second Time Around - episode 1 to Finale
It has been a while since I completed a BL series lol
I was hooked by the end of the first episode. I love how short the series is, how easily it flowed without any filler scenes or episodes. I also appreciated how intimate the scenes were shot with so few actors. It made the series come off as warm.
Plot-wise, I liked it a lot. I did begin to wonder about a few plot holes in the background story, but it all came together quite lovely in the end.
I can really understand where Miyata was coming from in the early episodes. It is a very stressful experience to get your feelings hurt by someone you like, so I can only imagine what it would be like if you love the person. That internal struggle Miyata went through is so valid because giving such a person a second chance really does feel like a betrayal to the younger/past you that had to get over the heart-break and/or hurt feelings. I think the actor who played Miyata portrayed this internal struggle well, making it real and relatable.
I love the cinematography of the NC scenes. They were beautifully done; they carried the depth of emotions that the story warranted.
All in all it was a good watch.

I really want to watch Wishing Upon the Shooting Stars but I'm waiting for it to finish airing. Since I just started Fake Fact lips (really promising), Love of Silom and Flower Boy this week. After seeing the first episode of this 3 I decided to continue every week all of them and I'm gonna put on-hold Love Upon a Time. I will watch it when it's finished airing or when Love You Teacher and Only Friends : Dream On are finished (May 15th and 16th).
