FOUREVER YOU PART 2 Lately it's winter season:

Yay! 👏

It's coming out the same day as Soul Mate!

I watched His (the prequel series) today. Dated JBL but the feelings are there. I'm going to watch His (movie) later on. The thing is, I have an issue with watching too much lately. I've been postponing watching things and keeping up with them. Maybe another burnout is in question? Who knows.

Shout out to all the members posting daily photos of our BL boys! (on the BL Group page)

I can't decide which of these titles to start! Well, I think I should wait to watch UP all at once cuz he's special! Love of Silom looks more intense and that might be better as a straight through watch.

It's a complicated choice, I could have wait for Love of Silom but since I started it I'm going to continue watching if I remember correctly I did the same for My stand-in and I loved it. But you're going to have fun at binge-watch it.

Let me tell you I know what you're feeling. So mid 2025 I was only watching maybe 10 series a most at the time. Then I bought a tv journal (I like those sorts of things) that I thought was blank, well turns out it had 190 prefilled out thai BL's spanning from 2016 (or so) till 2024. I thought it would be cool to complete that entire list. I had already watched about 30 at the time I first got it and today I only have 104 left.

But I noticed I kept putting off shows I had wanted to watch during this self challenge to the point a new 2025 plan to watch list emerged and so now I have two list and it was stressing me out so I decided to not miss a single BL in 2026 so I wouldn't get behind.

My CW list is 18 BL's and I almost burned out of it. It started to feel like a job and not my stress releaver. I had considered shelving my self challenge, but I kept thinking of that list every day (I have a completion issue) and at the time half of the BL's I was watching were terrible too.

So, and this sounds crazy, but what helped me is added more to watch. Or I should say variety. I had left my C-dramas behind late 2025 so I added a few to my CW list and I also started watching GL's since they seemed to finally up their quality. The variety has helped so much in bringing the excitement of watching BL back. The only time I feel overwhelmed is Friday because like 9 shows will update and its difficult watching all of the in one day and Saturday is my second biggest update day. Plus, I work a factory job so I usually only get 4 days off a month. 😮‍💨 But I'm having fun now and thats what's important.

I think there are a lot French people here 😆

@ElementalStar

I watched 3 eps of Wishing Upon the Shooting Stars last night and I love it! The chemistry is right on. I can tell when I woke up this morning and my first thought was to watch another ep. I didn't but I will later. I love the feeling of anticipation for a drama I really enjoy. It carries me through the day with the drama as my reward at the end of it.

I love all the guys but Jed Chung as Xiang Yong is stealing my heart. Especially when he does that half smile. He's on the right.

Glad you're liking it as much as I do. It's funny how I didn't even notice we haven't even talked about this drama in the group until you mentioned it. 😅

Santa's first solo OST! He's sooo adorable. His angelic voice. 😇

Oh someone from France !

I'm in Germany, but I had a French boyfriend a very very long time ago. Does this count?

Or I should say variety.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Variety is the spice of life, as they say? I thought of adding some other type of dramas too, but I don't really want to watch GLs right now (even if I signed up for the GL watch challenge) and I also am very picky with other series I've been meaning to watch since forever. Imagine I need to watch Alice in Borderland season 3 but no time for it between all the BLs, plus I don't want what it's offering right now. And that feeling keeps persisting. Not to mention the "starts an episode but gives up after 5 minutes of it" thing that keep happening. I'll eventually watch something, but it's something new usually. I keep starting new series while forgetting about the old ones. I keep restarting dropped series too, and dropping them again. It's all a mess basically.

I'm now reading an YiZhan fic so it's like... I have some occupation for myself but that too, I'm thinking of quitting soon. I like reading fanfics but not when it becomes a burden to do so. I don't know what to say. In the end, some BLs will get watched, some others? Postponed indefinitely aka dropped in my book.

I have a hard time dropping things too. Don't know why. Maybe it's fomo after all. Or something of the sort. But even when I enjoy a thing, I might postpone it. Like, Sammy's Children's Day. I wanted to watch the next episodes (from 5th to 8th) today and yesterday but made no progress on that front. It does seem like I have to wait for the last episode before continuing. That's fine as long as I keep myself interested in it. Not hard to do with such a series, but I keep telling myself I'll watch the episodes before Friday rolls about, only to forget about it come the next day.

At least today I finished a thing. I might have finished the His movie too, if not for the fact I don't have the attention span needed for a movie right now. It is what it is. Back to my YiZhan fic reading I go.
