What happened at the fan concert? Did they talk much and play songs? I never attended such a concert so I wanted to ask. Who is JD just to clear up any misunderstanding on my side. Are there any videos how to pronounce Aous' name properly because now I am not so sure myself if I pronounced the name correctly all the time.
It was JoongDunk's Fan Concert on April 6. Joong organized the whole thing, and it was amazing. He just did a phenomenal job all around, plus his own part singing and dancing. By the end of the night (it was day 2), you could tell, he was burnt out. @axdxex helped me get my ticket since I had already started travelling (I'm still in Asia for another 3+ weeks) and didn't have the best internet. So she attended a week of Fan Meets then 2 days of JD's Fan concerts (same concert with different special guests). I only went to Day 2 so we overlapped one full day before she left. I stayed for Songkran and attended two free concerts (Superfluid, April 12-13) with JASP.ER, GemFourth, PondPhuwin, Jeff Satur and LYKN (plus more acts I didn't know). Songkran was a lot of fun, but I will not attend the free concerts any more. Too much of a mob scene for me, and a real danger of getting crushed. If all goes as planned, I'll see @axdxex again in Rome to see PondPhuwin and JoongDunk at the end of August.
Auo is pronounced as Oo, Sorry, can't do tones here. But this will give you an idea of how off we are in our pronunciations:

Most definitely no. Unless I move to Hong Kong for a couple of years, I just wouldn't have the time in this lifetime to study it. Cantonese also really confuses my mandarin too because the bases of both languages are so similar. Even when watching Japanese, when they use Kanji I start reading it in chinese and the words make no sense but I also understand what its trying to say... this messes with me so bad.
