there are some pretty good Chinese BL at the moment, I agree. Did you watch Feel What You Feel? The last ep will be airing next Friday. It's getting better and better with each episode, I didn't think much about it when I started, but I'm hooked now, and I fell hard for the second couple (second lead syndrom), I think I like their story even more than the main lead.

I've had that one on my radar but I was actually running around it without watching first ep.

Does anyone know if ABO Desire is good enough for a watch? That's probably the only CBL from last year I didn't watch. Mainly because ABO as a trope is not something I'd like to watch.... am I missing anything if I don't watch this one? Except for Eliot's looks that is.
Today I finished Contrast, the JBL that was currently airing on Friday. Yesterday I finished Sammy's Children's Day so I had to take a break after all those episodes (had to catch up from ep 5 - ep 9).
I don't know about you guys but JBL doesn't hit as much as it used to. This one, Contrast, was okay. But that's just it, only "okay" doesn't inspire a lot of feelings in me. I gave it an 8 out of 10... could go lower.

i haven't checked your watch list but Meet You At the Blossom is good, though it's a toxic/black flag romance
as for jbls, i love and enjoy them more than thai :)

Three other recommended Mainland China BLs that I don't see on your list:
"Stay With Me": Cliffhanger ending intended for a sequel that never happened, but otherwise superb. (Censored BL, but I would personally call it BL rather than Bromance.)
"Blue Canvas of Youthful Days": Emotionally powerful, with a lot of love but also pain. Deaf character. Real BL, not bromance.
"I'll Turn Back This Time": Not in the same league as the first two, but reasonably good. Painful and tragic. Real BL, not bromance. (MDL ratings are probably low because of sad ending.)

I tried it and I think it's watchable if I skip some of the NC scenes. I really like the story idea so I'll keep watching for now!
I accidentally watched EP 1 part 4/4 of The Boyfriend Express this morning. I'm not fully awake yet so I didn't catch it til I looked for part 2/4, lol.
