I love LUAT. Would have rated ot higher if I had binged it. So I can't wait for a rewatch of this.

Ticket to Heaven - Just beginning

I'm only three minutes in so far, but already Gemini is bringing it and he hasn't even spoken yet.

The real reason for coming here. I had two thoughts.

First when the priest (I think that's who he is) put a hand on Gemini's shoulder in the church and smiled. This is my honest reaction. His smile felt a little creepy to me and in that same second I remembered countless news stories of priests who abused kids in the Catholic church. I wish I hadn't thought of that.

The second was when Gemini called him father. I was confused and I thought he meant his real father, until I realized the name "Father" is another name for a priest. Right?

It's going to be an interesting watch I can tell. I never know where my brain is going to go. 😳🙃

I really wanted to start The Prosecutor's Proposal but it refused to load on iQIYI. I'll have to try again some other time. Two BLs I actually started today:

• Deep In I watched all 3 episodes that are out. It's intense. Zhen Xin already noticed Zhang Zhun when the latter was a stunt double in his earlier historical show. For this project, Zhen Xin chose Zhang Zhun to play Gao Zhun, not anticipating how affected he would be.

• Burnout Syndrome I'm late to the party. I ended up dropping OffGun's two previous projects, so I wasn't sure I would like this one. I'm pleasantly surprised! Koh is definitely a red flag! I also wasn't expecting that kiss between Gun and Dew at the end of ep 2. I was trying not to read anything about it while it was airing, in case I decided to watch it. I'm glad I get to watch the rest of the episodes at my pace.

I finished the first ep and I kept reminding myself of your comment above. I felt very tense watching it so I hope it gets better later. Maybe it's the bg music. I'm getting suspenseful and dramatic vibes, not in a good way.

This is likely going to be a slower watch. I think I can handle only one ep a day, maybe.

The last episode it tomorrow I believe and half of us are hoping for a happy ending, but even if the worst happens, I'm still going to be grateful to have watched it. Did you want the spoiler on the outcome? (Happy or devastating)

Started on Battle of the Writers. Which, comes to find out that iQiyi removed it from their catalog in all countries. Only the edited version is available on youtube now.

So much for trying to watch it though legal means. But I will say, TutorYim's chemistry is so addictive. As for the drama so far, I'm on ep 4 and I love the plot, obviously love the actors, but that directing and editing is just down right terrible. It's distracting on the best side.

For example, when Ob-um is rolling up Shan's sleeves, he says a line, then it looks like they have a long romantic slow-mo look... nope, they backtracked and Ob-um says the same line again because it wasnt edited properly. Then they have another cute Ob-um leaning in close to Shan moment and we got to see it from 5 different angles with 10 seconds. I for real got dizzy.

And I genuinely though these guys were in reality, having a round table in pajamas and hair ties. It took an unforgivable amount of time (thanks to the editing and directing) to realize it was a group chat over the phone and the round table was just a manifestation of their conversations.

Did they get an intern to direct this? 🤔

Ditto to all your comments. Yeah, it's a garbled mess, which is a shame because it could easily have been so much better. Nevertheless, I mostly enjoyed it, which attests to my low standards.

I trust that you're watching the uncut version. Otherwise, you're missing some good Tutor/Yim chemistry. 💕

After the promising first episode of "Don't Be Too Emotional" (iQiyi), I'm especially looking forward to today's ep. 2!
