well they only have 10 mins so they have to move fast =)) just kidding =D

Oh Tina you made me laugh! Encountering a Thai BL must have been terrible. On a more serious note, there are really bad Thai BL. Avoid at any costs Fahlanruk, Eye Contact or Love Is Like a Cat.
you're forgetting crazy handsome rich =))

Without kidding he's everywhere: he's playing the father in Love of Silom, Flower Boy, Ticket to Heaven and Don't Be too Emotional

Flirt Milk
Haha, I think I remember Mr. P liking this one...one of his "train wrecks".
Correct. One of those cute, strangely engaging trainwrecks that I perversely loved.
As to the other two titles:
I loved "I Will Knock You" - and not even as a trainwreck, i.e. I thought it was adorably sweet and funny and actually quite unique and memorable. But that's me: I don't require others to share my quirky tastes and likes.
I haven't watched "My Engineer" but I've been meaning to - partly to see Perth Nakhun but also because it's the kind of cutie-filed cliché Thai university BL that I usually enjoy. (I admit to having low standards.)
I've watched all three. My Engineer was my fav and rated it 8/10.
I Will Knock You had some great parts and wasn't overall too bad, but still, it was a 7/10.
I rarely rate BELOW a 5 but guess who got a 4/10? Yeah, Flirt Milk.
ElementalStar:
The Table: (finishes next week) This production team has way better dramas in their library, you can pass on this one. Mostly boring now.
I feel the same. Actually I'm noticing a pattern of just convos and drinking throughout some of these short YT series. And the convos are recycled or repeated every ep. I decided to stop watching as many YT BLs. They're blending together, lol.
Laalaa17930228:
Thanks for posting the trailer and yeah this doesn't look that exciting.
You're welcome! I think it might be one of those dramas that one might love or hate. OR one of Mr. P's excellent train wrecks. Like a really really good train wreck.
Tiffany:
Ticket to Heaven: I feel the same way as Indie Art Girl. I was so scared they were going to get caught and mistreated, so I was really relieved it didn't go that way.
Oh nice that I'm not alone with my weird thoughts, haha.
Tina:
Right now I dropped:
Flirt Milk
I Will Knock You
My Engineer
I also dropped a few other titles I was previously giving a chance to. Mostly Thai ones, go figure.
Not the cream of the crop for Thai BLs, so I'm not surprised. I didn't rate I Will Knock You high but I remember finding some parts very funny and enjoying its redemption arc.
From my personal list, here are the ones I thought were outstanding (your mileage may vary). I think there's enough variety in the plots/genres:
4Minutes (Sultrier Version) Satisfying ending. I was glued to the screen and paying attention to everything, all the dialog and details very carefully. It's just that kind of show, because if you blink, you might miss a crucial clue. IMO, the NC scenes were gratuitous and didn't add to the plot. They could have shown less skin and it wouldn't have changed the plot. MDL rating 8.0
Duang with You What a fun watch (college setting). As long as you don't find Duang cringy, you'll enjoy this. There were some serious moments which only brought the leads closer. I wasn't sure what to expect, but ended up loving this series. MDL rating 8.9
I Told Sunset about You (ITSAY) This is one of the best coming of age LGBTQ+ stories I have seen. Set in Phuket, the scenery is breath-taking. It's well-acted, well-directed, and I loved it. In Teh, we have a character confused about his sexuality as he finds himself attracted to his long-term crush Tan and to Oh-aew, his former best friend with whom he has recently reunited. TW: This emotional drama is not your typical BL. MDL rating 8.1 Last Twilight in Phuket is a short episode between I Told Sunset about You and I Promised You the Moon.
I Promised You the Moon This is the sequel to ITSAY. It's a roller coaster ride for your emotions, but if you recall your college years and all the bad decisions you made, maybe you'll sympathize with the characters a little better. They're in their late teens to early 20s, and they don't communicate well. As a budding actor, Teh is being ruled by his emotions and passion. Oh-aew has a group of loyal friends who made me laugh and made me cry. TW: infidelity MDL rating 8.0
Jack & Joker: U Steal My Heart! (Uncut Ver.) Joker doesn't ever take anything seriously and ends up hurting Jack's chances at opening the school that would help his community. Even though Joker pays for his crime, Jack is beholden to a crime lord who keeps Jack's community down instead of lifting it up. And Jack will not forgive Joker for his part in Jack's broken dreams. IMO, you can skip Jack & Joker: U Steal My Heart! Special Episode unless S2 is announced. MDL rating 8.6
Khemjira One of the best BLs in 2025. Even though I don't normally like horror, I really wanted to watch this show, so I persisted, and only 2 or 3 episodes were scary or had jump scare. I'm not super afraid of ghosts, more grossed out by gore/blood and easily startled. Since the ghosts were not on every episode, I could relax and pay attention to the plot most of the time. I thought it was an interesting story, steeped in Thai tradition & history, and we were given a satisfying conclusion (which doesn't always happen). MDL rating 8.6
Last Twilight A rare BL that addresses one lead's descent into blindness from infectious keratitis. Partially due to denial, Day hadn't learned many skills to cope with his blindness. His family has hired caregivers which don't always work out until Mhok. This drama was well directed, enabling the actors to give their best. The leads had amazing chemistry. The supporting actors were also amazing, esp. Mark Pakin as Night and Kun Kunchanuj as On, Day's blind friend. MDL rating 8.5
Love in the Moonlight I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the production, the plot and the acting. It was definitely one I looked forward to each week. Not only did they address homophobia in this historical drama but also social inequity. TW: Violent murders MDL rating 8.4
LoveSick 2024 IMO, this remake was better than the original (high school setting). It deleted the extraneous stories of Jeed and Taengmo and focused on the main leads Noh and Phun. It kept some of the sides stories of the Music Club's pairings, with some changes. We had better representation with not only BL, but GL couples, a M/F couple and a trans character. The general vibe felt like the original, probably because Director and Original Creator for this drama and for Love Sick Season 2 are the same. Who impressed me the most were the main leads Progress Passawish and Almond Poomsuwan who played Noh and Phum. They're young actors, but incredibly talented. MDL rating 8.1
Me and Thee This has exceeded all my expectations. It's funny, heartfelt and the two leads have showcased both their acting and comedic timing. MDL rating 8.8
Moonlight Chicken Complicated adult relationships, budding first love (second couple), superb acting. I experienced the gamut of emotions watching this show, from the giddy excitement of first love to the tragic demise of a long-term relationship, from the pain of unrequited love to the comfort and contentment of finding the right one. MDL rating 8.2
Ticket to Heaven One of the best BLs this year. A coming-of-age drama within the confines of a Catholic Boys' School. GemFourth delivered chemistry, great acting. The production was excellent: lighting, OST and cinematography were all perfect!! Another P'Aof masterpiece which is semi-autobiographical. MDL rating 9.0
I'm working both tomorrow and Saturday; next week I will also be working Mon-Sat so I'm trying to figure out which episodes to watch and which ones to put off on Sunday. Here's what I have so far..
Friday (Total of 17 episodes)
Love Class 3: airs early by itself so doesn't interfere with any other drama, also short at 15 mins.
Blossoms of Power: 2 eps (chinese historical) don't want to get behind because they drop 2 episodes EVERY DAY. 😮💨 Not only that but I'm genuinely enjoying this.
A Winter Sun: I might put this to Sunday so I can properly relax and enjoy it on normal speed.
Deep In: Either watch both episodes Sunday or watch each episode as they air. Don't know what would be more satisfying 🤔
Bittersweet Love: Undecided.
Don't Be Too Emotional: For sure watching in Friday!
A Dog and a Plane: This has been making me laugh so this could be a good pick me up after DBTE.
In Love Forever: (GL) I can watch this right after LC3 as it airs pretty early too.
The Servant Prince: eager to see more of this plot, might fit this in.
Chasing Love: (GL) second to last episode, might watch it monday instead.
The Eternal Fragrance: 2 eps (chinese historical) this is the last to air so I'm probably watch 1 am Saturday when I get off work.
Key to the Phoenix Heart: 4 eps (chinese historical) brand new airing so its four eps. 😫 I can watch at least 2 as it looks like it airs the same time as TEF.
Saturday (Total of 14 eps)
Blossoms of Power: 2 eps (chinese historical) it's everyday!!! Can you believe there was a time I didn't think this was enough. me: cursing my past self
A Sudden Kiss after the Night Shift: put this off for Tuesday.
Deep In: still up in the air!
The Fire: (GL) opening day on the 4th drama in this trilogy so I have to watch it.
Peach and Me: No question, must watch Sat
The Edge of Horizon: I know I want to watch it Saturday, but we will see.
Your Summer, My Storm: New Japanese school drama. 😒 I'll watch this first episode day off but future episodes might be put off.
Lost to Light: second to last episode so I can put it off this week, but next week I have to watch Saturday. 😣
Crazy Love, Moo Moo: last episode!! Hellelujah! I love watching first ep and last ep on day of or this would be knocked to Monday. 🙄
Payback: I'll watch this over Edge of Horizon, but thats if I can fit either of them on Saturday. The knowledge I'm preferencing CLMM over PB is killing me 😵
The Eternal Fragrance: 1 eps (chinese historical) Only 1 episode sat! Because at 6 eps left they start doing one a day. 😑
Key to the Phoenix Heart: 2 eps (chinese historical) Might be able to watch the other 2 epsiodes from the previous day here and played catch up Sunday.

Blossoms of Power
This is on my PTW list. I actually don't have a C-historical going rn, very unusual for me.
Here's what I'm currently watching, but no schedule or certain day when I watch them:

I made a special BL calendar style chart a year or so ago and I used to post it here occasionally, but the Numbers program (similar to Excel) on my Mac was replaced with a new version recently and I screwed it up so bad while updating and editing, I ended up deleting it. I could barely use the old program but now it's hopeless. It was so pretty too! Waaaah!! 😭
Last night and tonight I watched the first 4 eps of My Dear Daddy and called it a day. I thought the MLs were really cute together and the chem was good. What I didn't like was too much time on the GL couple, too much biz focused and the NC stuff was weird. What I saw of it before skipping. I don't remember the terms or acronym but it includes blindfolds and collars, maybe more but since I stopped halfway I'll never know.
It was going to be for one of my challenges, but not now. **sigh**
@Indie Art Girl
Normally besides first episodes and last episodes I can watch whenever, but because I'm doing my challenge I want to keep it as organized as I can. That spreadsheet sounds amazing until it wasn't.
If I was only watching 3 dramas I could remodel my whole house already. 🤭 I wouldn't even know what to do with all that free time.

"Eye Contact" was indeed terrible but was one of those special trainwrecks that I perversely enjoyed.
"Love Is Like A Cat", on the other hand, was just painfully bad and wins the award for "All-Time worst BL that I watched till the end".

IT'S ALMOST WINTER SUN FRIDAY!
I feel so guilty. I promised at the start to join the group watch, and I've still not started on it.
On the other hand, looking forward to today's new episodes of "Deep In", "Don't Be Too Emotional" and "Servant Prince". All three are shaping up to be good series. (There's also today's ep. 14 of "Love Class 3", which isn't such a good series but I'm enjoying it for the cuties and the idol vibe.)
