Just for the record, I’m still enjoying this show and I think William and Est are both doing a good job with their parts. I’ve always loved Est’s acting and his ability to portray so many emotions with just changing facial expressions. When he cried this week, I cried too. It takes a special actor to make me actually cry, so I want to give him and the show credit for this.
On a totally different note, Est’s artwork in the show is ridiculously bad! No one becomes a successful illustrator or graphic designer with a portfolio of only pastel butterflies! Whoever made that decision just didn’t care if it was believable! My mother and my spouse are both artists and I spend a lot of time in museums. I’ve also taken a lot of art and design classes, so this matters to me and I’m actually offended by those stupid butterflies! Bright’s art, on the other hand, was good and totally fit his character, so it’s not as if the show can’t choose the right kind of art. And if they wanted to drive home the point that Moth is no longer creating work from the heart, they were still too extreme.

😂😂😂His art does not match expectations. I question the character's taste but there is a market for everything. They should have gone for a fully camp /pop art aesthetic or something. The butterfly motif could have been explored more too. I thought gmmtv was just lazy but apparently the art style is intentional for the story.🤯

Nour : It was so good ! I went into it almost blind. I didn't read the synopsis, watched like 30 seconds of the teaser months ago and forgot everything about it.
I'm glad I binge-watched it instead of waiting every week. It's so hard to do that when a title has investigations and suspense in it. I rarely watch supernatural stuff, so it was nice to step a bit out of my comfort zone.
With investigations, I always try to guess everything from the start. I'm glad I got some things wrong. For example, when I first saw Chita, I thought he was a Nour, but like the nicest one who couldn't even kill a bug 😂
One of the problems that BLs with investigations often face is finding the right balance between the two genres, and I think they got it right with this one.
I loved all the characters, and I think they were pretty well-written. The chemistry was there for all the couples, too.
One of the few things I'd nitpick about is that they should have explored some subjects more deeply, like the death of James' father. It seems he was a Nour since Chita killed him, but I don't think it was ever explicitly explained.
I'm also not sure I fully understood what happened with Ken's true love. It seems like he sacrificed himself because Ken was about to die, and James is his reincarnation.
I can understand why some people didn't like the ending, but that's not the case for me. I think it's a pretty sad ending. 9/10

glad to know i'm not the only one who still enjoys this. though the story of the second couple seems a bit too rushed for me. dr pun was in love with moth, and he didn't have that much interaction with ten to have that kind of feelings for him

If intentional, it was still a bad choice. He could still be a decent illustrator or designer to make the story work just fine. One reason it bothers me so much is that it distracts me and takes me out of the story.

Sorry for the late answer, this is so far for me the best toxic BL that I have watched during this year. Especially Peat does amazing job at playing someone who is quite honestly psychopath in this one, but let's just say that Fort's character is not exactly innocent in this show either. But it is def. not something everyone will be able to watch and the first 1-3 episodes, you have to really pay attention, bc there are a lot of flashback scenes. My only real minus points for this was that the special episode is like from an alternative universe and felt very out of place considering how dark the main plot got. I have a review of this on my page and it shouldn't have too many spoilers in terms of specific plot points.
Noted, I am biased towards them so I wanna give it a chance, I think ill give it a go, thank you!
