The look of love I can’t resist
I just wanted to say I saw a very recent insta post that Earth & Mix openly shared they are dating. I don't know for sure how accurate it is, but if they are they sure make a cute couple. I really like them but the only drama of theirs I like is A Tale of a Thousands Stars.

And because I’ve been meaning to show this to Art Girl forever, here is a piece by my spouse:
I like it!! I love the vibrant colors which does vibe with my style, along with the circles. For some reason circles are my thing I guess. 🤷🏻♀️😆
Your mom's wood craving is very impressive. It's not easy, I've tried, haha. And ur bird is terrific! 🐦⬛ ❤️
I'm back to only having Fanboy to watch. All my BL picks except one are still airing so I guess I will start Love Is Better the Second Time Around Season 2, but maybe not tonight. I don't think I can stay awake. It's only Tuesday but it's been a long week already and a few kitchen accidents involving hot pepper juice in my face 😳 and cider vinegar in a dish in the wrong measurement. Like x6 too much. 💀😖

they look gorgeous! thanks for sharing! i'm an art-challenged type of person who can't draw anything aside from human sticks lol
I'm the same 😆

! I went into it almost blind. I didn't read the synopsis, watched like 30 seconds of the teaser months ago and forgot everything about it.
except for watching the teaser, this is me in almost all recent airing bl shows i watch lol
Maybe that's the way to go sometimes ! It can help avoid misunderstandings like the one I had with Don't Be Too Emotional when I thought it would have supernatural elements because of the tags.
dora:
Plus it had good NC scenes, which I always appreciate. lol.
You're right about the NC scenes ! I don't always think about mentioning them, but they were really good in this one.

Regarding that art piece by my spouse, I wanted Art Girl to see it because it is so similar to that one of hers she posted. Funny thing is, my spouse was inspired by a work one of her professors in college did. It hangs in one of the San Diego libraries.
That kind of art by Art Girl is actually my favourite ! I love how colourful her works are.

I would say Nour and Summertime have been my favorite shows that have finished so far this month, and The Missing Piece, which just keeps getting better for me, has 2 more weeks. Ash is good from what I’ve watched so far, but I haven’t finished it yet.
I'll watch Summertime on Friday ! It seems like a good month for BL. There are still 10 days left before the end of The Missing Piece. It's hard to wait when I've already seen some TikToks of the two main actors 😆

I also want to binge watch something
OMG NOUR... it's the best... honestly my fav drama of the year!
Even though I usually don't rewatch investigation series because I don't really enjoy knowing who the killer is and everything, I'll definitely rewatch this one ! It was that good.
Today I'm watching Duty First, Kiss Later since it came in second place in my poll.

If I'm not wrong, it's not the first time you've mentioned kitchen accidents. Even if I tell you to be careful, it's easier said than done 😆 I'm someone who bumps into things every day, so I always have bruises. Yesterday, I bumped my head against my circuit breaker and kicked a glass candle with my knee just as I was about to give it to my friend as a gift 😭 Luckily, it didn't break ! 😅

Duty First, Kiss Later was pretty good.

Echo Of A Letter's trailer: starts on 16/10
For now, I'm in for a binge-watch (it will depend on the feedback). This looks interesting ! For a second, I thought it was AI because the lead looks so good 😆
Duty First, Kiss Later : It was pretty good, and the characters were quite endearing. I thought there would be more police cases, but since it was short, it's normal that we saw more of the relationship side. It was a good watch ! I recommend it if you want something short, simple and not too heavy. 8/10
Guys I want to know how as BL fans we feel about this. I will emphasize that I don't want any negativity and hate for the account I took this screen capture from, so if you feel strongly about this topic don't flood them with negative reactions (just in case I did crop out the account name). This is here as an example for consideration of what as fans is healthy/normal to expect from ships and what is going too far.
So as you can read this is a post about the this year's songkran which got A LOOOT of attention, bc let's face it some wild things from many of our favorite BL actors were caught on camera. This post is specifically about NuNew and Zee, who are one of the rare few pairs that have openly come out as an official couple outside of acting and I remember when we started getting the first videos and photos from the event, a lot of fans were already asking if there would any content from them. And there was content and as far as I have understood NuNew and Zee did at least approve some of the content being posted by the staff that accompanied them. As experienced actors they knew beforehand that they couldn't stay anonymous before some fans spotted them and filmed them, and simultaneously they did also probably make the estimation that the content would be popular amongst their fan base.
This IG post though I find a bit iffy. It makes an implication that there is more material (which could be true) and a specific claim that the material could be "spicier" than what we got when the event was held. I get it that especially when you know the romance is real, it adds to the excitement of seeing your ship together outside of the screen. However considering how there is a complete lack of privacy for the actors these days, (and next is my personal opinion) even as a fan I don't think we should still see everything. Even if something more than the things that were posted happened, I almost feel bit sad that can't NuNew and Zee be present at least in one public event during a year and have a moment just for them, without hoard of ppl on internet wanting to see it. They already do sooo many events together during the year and post on socials voluntary about their time together when aren't doing a show, so I think their fans get a lot without having to ask.
But this is just my very subjective opinion. I would be curious of what you guys think, where is the line of reasonable things for fans to expect from their favorite actors and what is maybe too much? And is it different if you know the love is real and not the just on screen acting?

Fan culture is pretty unregulated. This is not limited to bl but shipping or stanning real people should never be taken seriously in my eyes. They are not puppets. It should be fun and harmless.
Actors in particular actually owe the fans nothing outside of their work related stuff in terms of their personal relationships or life. They play make believe for a living.🤣It should not be deeper than that.
What and how much they choose to reveal is their choice. Do the actors play into or exploit certain things? Yes.Unfortunately, it is probably just the price of being in entertainment and could be considered a common part of the job at this point.
The lines are blurred in this industry but it really should not be an expectation in a perfect world.

I liked it too. BL's need to have more mature couples and stories in general. It would be nice to see more

Yeah I think since social media engagement is so important for the actors success these days, it can blur line for the actors also how much and what to show in public. And then there is the general element that actors just like other celebrities are public personas (it's the core part of the work), and without the fans support their careers are over, but I still don't like the aspect where some fans think they are "owned" smth by the ppl they idolize, just because they are celebrities.

I'm not really good at expressing my thoughts, but I'll try : I'm not against shipping. I ship people too, but it should stay respectful and we shouldn't pressure the actors. We shouldn't ask them to do things like have more skinship, for example, and make them uncomfortable just because we ship them. They don't owe us anything. We can see them in series or at events, but outside of that, they can do whatever they want.
And I think the same goes for real couples. They can share whatever they're comfortable sharing, but we shouldn't ask them for more. I'm happy to see cute videos of my favourite pairings, but I don't want them to feel forced to do anything.

I agree ! I hope we get to see more mature couples to add more diversity.
