Okay so I have finally decided to watch "I told sunset about you", I have been putting it off since its release. I think I put it off because I will never be able to watch it again for the first time, but this summer is not ending without me watching it, so any advice before I watch?

Oh and another action bl that just dropped today is Kiseki: Dear to me

I personally was deeply transformed by watching this two part series.  It felt so incredibly vulnerable and honest.  It wasn't necessarily an "easy" watch like some of the lighter, fluffy series are but boy oh boy I truly admired what the entire crew that made them managed to deliver.  For me it was and is in my top of the top for more serious BL journeys.  I also would say watching both parts close together is a great way to keep the continuity and flow of their journey together!

I would love to hear what you feel about them if you do decide to watch :)

I remember watching this two days before an exam because I thought it would be a light short drama that wouldn't distract me.

HO BOY HOW I WAS WRONG

Karina, you made my evening! Hahaha

 Newbie2023:

Have you watched The New Employee?  I love it so much. Boo Hoo it's only 7 episodes.  The 2 MLs are good looking and great acting.

No I haven't

 p43425:

I don't disagree with you, i.e. neither the story nor the acting was really "wow" - but nevertheless, I really liked the series!  Aside from the nasty school bullying in the first episodes, it's mostly a gentle, feel-good kind of series with a simple story but also a quite a lot of real character development, especially in Tae Seong.  And by Korean standards there's quite a bit of kissing and even a shower scene, hubba hubba!

I suppose my expectations for it based on the webtoon were majorly not met so I couldn't help but to be disappointed...

Bro, I am so shocked there is a Korean version of "Why R U?"

Like I don't even know what to expect from this.

what are your thoughts? Does somebody plan to watch it?

I'm going to watch it, but according to my own rules I'm waiting for season completion.

I've watched the first two episodes and actually laughed out loud, which is more than I can say for the Thai version. I'll be watching as it airs.

I will be watching it but will imagine it's not a remake of Why R U? because for me that one holds a unique delight in my heart that I'm not willing to mess with!! :D

Same, I will be watching it but I can't see those intimate and those spicy scenes being remade at that level by Korea.

Nods.  It will be its very own thing and hopefully good but certainly NOT what Zee&Saint gifted us...that was uniquely THEM and can't be remade, imo :)

I'll definitely watch it (probably not until more episodes are out) - but I tend to be negative about remakes, so the Korean series will need to go well beyond the Thai original to get good reviews from me.

Also: Although it's nice to see Nat and Max, this immediately makes me suspicious that this is more a fandom gimmick than a serious attempt to make a really good series in its own right.

Hmmm, and on that subject: Tutor and Yim (♥ !) have finally made their (very brief) appearance in Episode 6 of "Jun & Jun" (which I really like). Is this also a Thai>Korean famdom gimmick, or will their role be substantive? I have a theory (prediction): Choi Jun will push out Simeon (as a rival for Lee Jun's heart), and Tutor and Yim will instead do the product launch and save the day!

PS: Will art imitate life? ...

Is this al

There are a number of series series that are being co-produced by Thai and Korean companies.  So, expect more in the future.

Did anyone catch this gay dating/partner swap reality show when it was aired?
