It's not a comfortable environment for me to openly talk about watching BL's, let alone mention how much I enjoy them. It's more of a secret or "guilty pleasure". Finding and being a part of this forum has made it so much nicer.

You are not alone in this. None of my friends or family (other than my hubby) know that I watch BL. It is indeed my guilty pleasure too. Hence why I’m so glad I found this forum and also the discord BL Wonderland server.

reasons why I don't watch Hindi soap operas... too much family drama that focuses too much on mother-in-law/daughter-in-law relationships... but some ones are nice... like The Family Man (it's a mystery murder) and this Telugu drama called Miss Perfect (that's a romantic one)... Dahaad is also really good... at least for me, they don't have too many off-putting drama elements... try watching them, I think you might like them :)

I know what you mean. I’m from Malaysia and we have lots of Hindi and Tamil movies usually shown over the weekends and I’ve seen a couple. It’s the usual drama of someone dying, a drunk husband or mother- and daughter-in-law etc. I have also seen a few good ones but I can’t remember what they’ve called because I watched them many moons ago.

Umm, no. I only watched to EP 6 and stopped. I was feeling depressed while watching so I needed to stop. I couldn't tell you why, but at times a drama affects me in less than positive ways. Moonlight Chicken is another one I stopped watching for the same reason.

Oh, I understand. IFYLITA is very emotional but I would encourage you to continue as it will get better and there’s a slight twist. Plus, there’s beautiful NC scenes in episode 10 and 12.  Yes, the ending is a bit confusing but overall it’s still a good story. I gave it a 9.

The same goes for Moonlight Chicken as it gets better as the story goes on and the ending is a nice one.

Concerning Cherry Magic I am totally with you.
I love to read what you think of it.
I haven't seen the Japanese version (yet), therefore I can't compare them.
But at least I can say, the Thai version was that good that I want to watch more BL dramas. :D
There's something good about that if it can pique interest. :D
