GL Drama Lovers Club

MDL ratings never disappoints to disappoint. This drama is one of the best woman love woman show I have ever seen across all the industries. Everything is so perfect that I am having difficulties to keep Pluto as my most favorite GL show. And after crying my eyes out watching the Ep 3, I come to MDL and see that rating has been dropped from 8.1 to 8.0 *facepalm*
No hate but het boys please stop rating bombing the show as it is not typical Thai chummy, 1st episode sex scene, forced kisses etc etc filled show that you guys look for. This one has an excellent story, character development and kind of slow burn romance. I know, it is personal choice to rate a drama and I do not want to impose on anyone. But it really feels bad to see such a good drama having so low ratings. 

Folks, please give some support to Love Design We need to do this.

I don't do well with graphic violence, but I really hope I can watch this one still, because it looks like it's going to seriously raise the bar.

I've seen a lot of people in the comments of some shows saying the ratings are too low and when I check the ratings it's always 7+..... I feel like anything above 7 is really good for MDL. For 3 eps in, an 8 rating is so good! I'm loving Love Design so far. I hate how all the good shows always have 8 eps. It's not enough!

@Binkau MDL ratings are very high for good shows in general and also the rating of Love Design dropped from 8.1 to 8.0, that's why I was frustrated. It is such a good drama, specially the pace and direction. Kao is a veteran actress and she is amazing with her facial expressions, the scene where she realizes that she feels something special for Mind when Mind caresses her lovelock. 

Luckily the show isn’t over yet so there’s still time for the ratings to go up again! But at the same time, I feel like this show is too light and “healthy” compared to other shows so a lot of people might not like it or drop it. Not enough toxic relationships or drama I guess. I like a good mix of both. Sometimes I like more drama and sometimes I like light-hearted shows.  A lot of ppl didn’t like Whale Store but I didn’t mind it. 

I wasn't aware that 'In The 8ight' had already started, but apparently it has. It's a reality show where 16 aspiring GL actresses compete/couple up for (four?) upcoming Idolfactory GL shows.

I've just finished Queendom and enjoyed it quite a lot. Although it doesn't really contain any spoilers, I'll put my comment behind a spoiler ...

A very cute, very sweet and very fluffy rom com. It has a lite storyline with little angst and plenty of feel good moments and even some comedy. The intimate scenes have a bit of spice in them, perhaps more that what would be expected considering the tone of the drama.

Nattawadee's and Tarradee's acting was perfect for the role, but to be fair, this isn't a drama that demanded a lot from the actors. But I've become a fan of both of them so I'm already looking forward to their future projects. They genuinely seemed comfortable with each other, and of course, they are both ridiculously gorgeous. I also enjoyed watching the relationship between Mai and Fon develop.

It's best to turn your brain off during the whole body swap episodes and just enjoy the story for what it is. But I will admit that I struggled with the thought of them essentially having sex with themselves.

My only negative comment was that I thought that Rey's mother's redemption was far too easy and not really earned. I've seen a few Thai GL dramas where the evil parent just stops being evil for some reason, says "sorry" and is suddenly parent of the year. I find this unsatisfying.

For fans of GL dramas, this is an absolute must watch, but it is entertaining enough for any fan of fluffy rom coms to enjoy.
