The almighty YouTube algorithm suggested to me this Vietnamese produced Chinese language AI generated GL microdrama, so I gave it a watch. It was actually pretty good. The first 10 episodes are combined into a single video about 16 minutes long.

Being AI generated, it won't be for everyone. Also, its an age-gap romance with one of the lead characters is still in high school, although there is zero romance in these first 10 episodes.

I hate to support AI when there is still no proper regulations in place for it (at least not in my country), but even so I'm guilty of checking out a few. 😔 At least 75% of the ones I peak at are garbage, but there are rare gems that make it more tempting.

Juliet & Juliet: ep 1 That was so fantastic. I am in love already with this series and I hope it stays that way.

You're testing my resolve to maintain my strategy of waiting until the series ends before I watch it so I can binge it. I haven't even watched Shades yet because I'm waiting for season 2.

The only reason Shades isn't currently my favorite is because I'm also still waiting for season 2. It's killing me to wait.

Hello. I am new in this club. I watch bl and wanted to start watching some gls. What could you recommend me a new gl watcher. I saw that pluto was ranked high but it is too complex for me for now if I would watch it as my first gl.

There are so many good ones. Here are a few suggestions just to get you started.

ClaireBell - is in my opinion the best Thai GL to date. It is a darker, more serious drama.
Enemies with Benefits - a fun and a little bit sexy rom-com.
Love Design - another fun rom com.
The Loyal Pin - a period drama.

Like I said, there are plenty more great GL dramas.

If you want to look at my MDL list, go to [Completed] and filter by Country > Thailand, then almost every drama there (except 2 I think) will be GLs. You can see the score I've given each drama. Any drama I've scored at 8 or above is worth watching .

Just finished the first ep of Juliet & Juliet and it looks so good! I already love how the main leads are portrayed and I'm excited for the next week. I am very tired of Romeo and Juliet adaptations in general but I had so much fun watching this:D Shame it's only 8 episodes but maybe it'll be enough, we'll see

I'm still watching Moonshadow. Just finished ep 4 and I agree with you that the end of the episode between Key and Jay was my favorite part of the episode. I'm liking it a lot better now than what I did from the beginning, which makes me really happy because for a while it felt like 4 out of 5 GLs I watched were not worth it.

Now I'm about to check out Fairway of Love, though I'm ready to be disappointed in this one. 😞

Khom Khlang: 💯 I have no words for how much I wanted this. I feel like I'm dreaming right now. Between J&J and this, talking about an amazing first episode drop. For this one, you get handed a lot of info but it is exceptionally paced. The tension of the police chase was some of the best I have ever seen. The supernatural element with a bit of horror was well played out and honestly Bulan got me a little hot and bothered here. 🤭 And the flashback with Bulan and her father, who was describing her cosmic soulmate is just 🤌. I was screaming!

I would say the only negetive I had would probably be the suicide scene and Pheem's reaction, which (I feel) didn't match the scene well. Besides this, I would say nearly a perfect episode. 👌
